Chapter 234 Temporary Organization
In the Tokyo government building, there is an office now used exclusively for handling Tanaka Group incidents, where military and political officials hold meetings every day.
Defense Minister Ryoken Takahashi comes to this office after finishing his meeting to handle his daily work documents.
The Tanaka Group incident has been classified as an emergency situation that poses an extreme threat to national security. He has to deal with a large number of meetings and documents every day. In order to facilitate work, he has been working in this office for three consecutive days.
"Minister, Bu Liangren has arrived." said the secretary.
Takahashi Ryoken rubbed his brows and said, "Let him in."
"Got it, Minister." The secretary kindly brought a cup of coffee and left the office.
After a while, Bu Liangren walked in.
"Inspector Ryoto Boku from the Shinjuku District Police Station reports to you!" Ryoto Boku saluted Takahashi Ryoken with a standard military salute.
Takahashi Ryoken put down his coffee cup and said, "Sit down, Inspector Bo." His tiredness was hard to hide between his brows.
He said directly: "You should have understood the situation. The troops we just sent over suffered heavy losses again."
Bu Liangren simply said "hmm", not knowing what to say.
Takahashi Ryoken looked at Bu Liangren and said, "As far as I know, you have been investigating the human organ trafficking case of the Tanaka Group a few years ago. Since the Tanaka Group incident, you have also participated in several large and small operations against the Tanaka Group."
Bu Liangren said "hmm".
Takahashi Ryoken continued, "Every time the guard team is in action, they encounter disasters, but you are always able to escape danger. It seems that you are a lucky general!"
Bu Liangren looked up at Takahashi Ryoken. Did the Minister of Defense call him over just to say this? Or was he doubting him?
After Takahashi Ryoken finished speaking, he stared at Bu Liangren with a smile, and the atmosphere suddenly froze.
Bu Liangren immediately thought that no matter what the Minister of Defense wanted to find him for, this might be a great opportunity to introduce Zhang Hao.
So he said, "Minister, every time I escaped death, it was actually with the help of a friend!"
Takahashi Ryoken said, "Is he also from Shinjuku?"
Bu Liangren replied, "Yes, his name is Zhang Hao, and he is the president of the Shinjuku District Harukami Association. The heart that Tanaka Kame transplanted came from him."
Takahashi Ryoken nodded. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Besides, the society is a legal social organization in the island country, so he doesn't care about Zhang Hao's identity.
He asked, "The Guards always lost in the confrontation with the Tanaka Group. How did he manage to save you?"
Bu Liangren thought about the last time they were surrounded by the Tanaka Group, and they finally escaped by watching the military vehicles fight their way out of a bloody situation.
He later asked Zhang Hao about this matter, and Zhang Hao replied that it was Pete, a computer expert from the Chunshang Society, who controlled the military vehicle and achieved unmanned driving, but this technology seemed too outrageous to him. Most likely, Zhang Hao had his own ulterior motives. Since Zhang Hao refused to tell him, he naturally did not ask any more questions.
Now that Takahashi Ryoken asked about it, he naturally chose to help Zhang Hao keep it secret.
He replied: "There is a hacker with extremely high computer skills around Zhang Hao who manipulated an unmanned vehicle to open the passage."
Takahashi Ryoken's ears twitched as he caught the message. The dilemma they were facing now was that they couldn't find out the situation inside Shinjuku District. Maybe this hacker had a way?
He immediately said: "We are in need of such talents now. Help us get information about the Tanaka Group. I want you to go find that friend for help!"
Bu Liangren was also delighted. The Defense Minister's request was of great value, especially in this special period! He wanted to help Zhang Hao seize this opportunity!
So he immediately said, "Minister, this is absolutely fine. I will go find my friend later, but I have a small request."
Takahashi Ryoken didn't care. His many years of political career made him realize that there is no such thing as free help.
"Tell me what you think."
"That's right, Minister. When the Shinjuku police force was wiped out, in order to maintain the social order in Shinjuku, Zhang Hao once asked the Harujokai's men to act as temporary police, and the effect was remarkable."
"It sounds like President Zhang is someone we can communicate with, but what does this have to do with your request?" Takahashi Ryoken asked in confusion.
"Afterwards, Zhang Hao guessed that the Tanaka Group would make a big move, so he disbanded the Chunshang Club and led some of his subordinates who were unwilling to leave to evacuate here. So, Minister, can you make some arrangements?"
"You mean find them a job?"
"That's right, Minister. You see, the remaining people in the Harujou Club are all from Shinjuku. I'm asking them for help this time. Maybe I can use them."
Takahashi Ryoken thought for a while and said, "I understand what you mean. The guards have suffered continuous casualties and are in need of new personnel. If Zhang Hao is willing, I can recruit them into a temporary force. If they can perform meritorious service in resolving the Tanaka Group incident, I can consider finding a position for some of them in the relevant departments."
After saying this, he began to write out a temporary certificate to prove the identity of the Spring Meeting participants in the guard team.
He handed the temporary certificate to Bu Liangren and said, "I can't make the decision on the appointment of troops without authorization. This certificate gives Chun Shanghui the identity of a non-staff hired personnel of the guard. They can participate in military operations, but we will not bear their expenses. Do you think you can accept it?"
Bu Liangren took the temporary document signed by the Minister of Defense and put it in his pocket. Having this identity was enough. As for the expenses, Zhang Hao was rich and didn't care.
"Minister, I will leave first and go to Zhang Hao to ask for help."
Takahashi Ryoken nodded, "Report to me as soon as you have any news!"
After Bu Liangren left, Takahashi Ryoken leaned back in his office chair.
Fortunately, after the Tanaka Group completely controlled the Shinjuku District, it did not take any further action, but he knew that the Tokyo government did not have much time left.
The Tanaka Group's current silence is just a way of digesting the fruits of victory. Once the personnel and materials in Shinjuku District are prepared, there will definitely be more action!
He stood up and left the office, ready to go and discuss things with the Prime Minister again. He couldn't put all his hopes on Bu Liangren's friend, the boss of a social organization.
"I hope the Prime Minister has other solutions!" Takahashi Ryoken muttered to himself.
As soon as Bu Liangren walked out of the government building, he got in the car and rushed towards Zhang Hao.
When he arrived at Zhang Hao's place, it was still early, so he went straight to the office.
In the office, Zhang Hao and others are paying attention to the information of the press conference held by the Tokyo government.
Seeing Bu Liangren coming in, Zhang Hao raised his head and greeted him, "Any latest news?"
