Chapter 23 Wu Rong
"Why did you attack your colleague?" a man wearing glasses asked softly while sitting beside the bed.
The man with glasses looked to be no more than thirty years old and was dressed like a businessman, but the most surprising thing was that he had a cane next to his hand.
"I..., I don't know either." Wang Zheng shook his head with difficulty.
From the time Wang Zheng was shot in the art gallery until the end of the operation, when the bullet was removed, he was intentionally tied to the bed by the hospital. This treatment should not have been given to a police officer, but what is intriguing is that no one raised any objections, while Gu Xia and others have not been given the right to visit the patient until now.
"Or I can understand that you have a temporary behavioral disorder and your brain has entered a special state that is out of your control." The man pushed his gold-rimmed glasses, thought for a while, and then continued: "Your second personality is out of control!"
Wang Zheng was speechless, opened his mouth for a long time, and then nodded.
"You are not suitable to be a policeman." The man diagnosed Wang Zheng, took off his glasses and took a deep breath, "But what is certain is that your thinking in judging cases is richer than that of many veteran criminal police officers, and even clearer than that of most experts."
"What exactly do you want to say?" Wang Zheng knew what the other party meant.
"Let's discuss cooperation." The man smiled. "Give me a detailed reasoning record of all the cases you handle in the future, and I can help you solve the current situation."
"Solve the current situation?" Wang Zheng was a little confused.
"At least you don't have to live like this now." The man lowered his head with a look of pity, "A member of a police task force was tied up while receiving treatment in the hospital after being gloriously wounded. I'm afraid that after this matter gets out, not only you, but your family will probably not let you stay in the task force anymore, right?"
"My family?" Wang Zheng was a little wary.
"You can't hide anything from me that I want to know." The man stared at Wang Zheng's face, as if he wanted to see something.
boom!
Suddenly, the door of the ward was roughly pushed open from the outside. The one walking in front was Gu Xia with an angry look on his face, followed by several other members of the task force.
"Wu Rong, what do you mean?" Gu Xia looked at the man next to Wang Zheng with an angry expression. "Wang Zheng's matter was assigned directly by the department. What right do you have to intimidate my subordinates?"
Obviously, Gu Xia was very familiar with the man and could even say his name directly.
"Haha, it's Professor Gu." Wu Rong returned to his seat, adjusted his glasses and said, "I didn't expect that you, who don't have the right to visit patients, can actually come in and out here."
"Is it difficult to get in here?" Gao Feng picked his ears, showing some disdain.
The security work outside the ward was very strict, and even armed police soldiers with real guns and live ammunition were deployed. Unfortunately, these armed police soldiers were useless in Gao Feng's eyes, so with just a few words, they successfully cleared the way and entered the ward.
"Oh? I forgot that the task force has another peak." Wu Rong smiled. "Let's get back to the point. Although Wang Zheng's case was assigned by the Ministry of Public Security, he is also very important to me. So I have obtained approval from above and have the right to get to know him."
"My people, I have the final say." Gu Xia had a tough attitude.
"You beg me." Wu Rong said calmly, "Perhaps I can consider giving you this favor."
"Damn, are you..." Gao Feng rolled up his sleeves immediately after hearing this, but was stopped by Gu Xia who was standing beside him.
Gu Xia shook his head, signaled Gao Feng with his eyes not to be impulsive, then turned around and said, "Wu Rong, do you know how I knew you were here?"
"Maybe some old guy who's in the way called you directly on the internal line. I guess it was him." Wu Rong seemed to have known the result long ago. He picked up his cane and pointed at the camera in the corner. His eyes seemed to penetrate the camera. "Looking for trouble is always the patent of you people, isn't it?"
"Please leave." Gu Xia finally calmed down and his expression returned to normal. "We know each other well. I know what you are going to do, and you also know what I am going to say."
"Okay." Wu Rong smiled, and did not forget to stare at Wang Zheng's face before leaving. His mouth opened but no sound came out. Then he shook his head and left the scene.
"Fuck, what the hell is this?" Gao Feng was very unhappy. He spat at Wu Rong's back, then quickly walked to the bed and untied Wang Zheng's body. "Why did these people do this? They even tied you up?"
"I don't know either." Wang Zheng smiled bitterly.
"Because in their minds, you have been defined as a dangerous person." Gu Xia seemed to have pointed out something. "They don't allow any unstable factors to appear in society. You should know what I am talking about."
Wang Zheng nodded, obviously understanding what he meant.
Gao Feng and Bai Ling looked at each other, both feeling confused.
"Where is the suspect?" Wang Zheng shook his stiff hands and asked.
"He was taken away by the department because they suspected he was using a fake name, so they need to verify his real DNA." Gu Xia paused and continued, "Also, there are still some unclear points in this case, and there is no direct evidence to incriminate him, so the department hopes that you can communicate with the local police about the clues you have."
"Wait... I haven't really understood who the suspect is. There was no information revealed on TV." Bai Ling asked quickly. This question has been bothering her for a long time.
"Yes, we were the last to arrive at the scene, and then we sent you to the hospital immediately. Who is the suspect?" Gao Feng was actually also confused.
"You just brag about your prowess on TV."
"Use your brain and think about it."
Gu Xia and Wang Zheng smiled at each other, and everything was said without words.
…
In the dim interrogation room, a strong light was deliberately turned on and shone on the prisoner's face.
The prisoner's hands were handcuffed to the stool so tightly that he couldn't even block the light. It was not until a long time later that the person sitting opposite him in charge of the interrogation ended the prank and pulled the lamp back to its original position, making the prisoner's face clear.
If Gao Feng was present at this moment, he would be surprised to find that the criminal he had never guessed was actually Chen Shuai's university mentor, Ao Jiang.
"Ao Jiang, or should I say Teacher Ao?" The man interrogating her spoke in a joking voice.
"You don't need to ask. I don't have anything to confess." Ao Jiang's expression was still stiff.
"I didn't intend for you to tell me because I know everything." The man laughed heartily and continued, "You are just a nymphomaniac who calls himself an artist."
"You!" Ao Jiang's expression was a little angry. "You know nothing. My works are the most perfect in the world, including all my carvings. They are all unique!"
"You call those dead bones sculptures?" the man said sarcastically, "You tried to draw a tiger but ended up drawing a dog instead."
"Shut up!" Ao Jiang was extremely angry. "I want someone else to interrogate you. You have no right to talk to me! "
"Do you think this is called singing with a KTV? Do you have a choice?" The man coughed lightly, "Ao Jiang, a Chinese teacher at No. 19 Middle School since 2007, and Hu Qiang's guide."
"You...how did you know?" Ao Jiang was shocked and an expression of disbelief appeared on his face.
"The reason why the murderer of Lan Ni's case has not been found ten years ago is actually because the three eyewitnesses at the time deliberately concealed the truth for you in order to graduate smoothly." The man made a clicking sound. "What a deep teacher-student relationship, but why did you kill these three people in the end?"
"Stupid, because he needs new artwork." Another voice came out of the man's mouth.
"So that's how it is." The man answered his own question, then laughed. "Those so-called arts are just excuses for your cowardice. Forty years of mediocrity are just a lie for the excitement of life. To cover up the lie, you can only kill those who know about it one by one, and then make them into your favorite bone sculptures."
"That's enough!" Ao Jiang became even more agitated, "Who the hell are you?"
"In fact, you are not satisfied with this kind of stimulation, so you cooperate with them, right!" The man suddenly changed the subject and said, "Instead of cooperating with them, it is better to cooperate with me. I can provide everything you want."
"You...what did you say?" Ao Jiang looked at the man in front of him in surprise.
"Think about it carefully." The man laughed, then pushed his nose bridge habitually, turned around and left the interrogation room.
