Chapter 23: Her True Identity
Heath was stunned for a moment. The little girl in front of him looked very familiar. Wasn't she the one he saw in the Evergreen Forest last time ?
"You're here again. There's a nice smell in your arms. What is that?" The little girl said in a baby voice, looking at Heath curiously with her big eyes.
"Um...are you talking about this?" Heath motioned to Farfetch'd to stand beside him, then he took out the prepared lunch box from his arms, opened it and showed it to the little girl.
The rich aroma of the sweet and sour spare ribs wafted out instantly. The brown color of the ribs and the ribs shining in the sun made the little girl swallow her saliva.
Heath saw it all and felt happy in his heart. He was a little pleased. It seemed that getting that important clue was very useful. This little girl... no, this Pokémon really liked sweet and sour food, and the sweet and sour spareribs were a perfect match.
"Do you want to eat it?" Heath looked at the little girl in front of him and asked with a smile. He felt a little regretful. He should not have used the identification opportunity on the Farfalle.
The little girl nodded subconsciously, her face flushed with excitement, but she quickly shook her head, folded her hands proudly, turned her head away, and looked disdainful.
Heath was a little amused and confused. He didn't realize that this Pokémon was actually a little tsundere. However, this made Heath even more curious about its identity. What kind of Pokémon was this that could perform such lifelike actions?
"You are not actually human, are you? I saw you in Viridian City before, and you should still be training with Charmander now." Heath looked at the little girl in front of him and decided to expose her identity.
"Eh? Who said that! I am a human... I just... didn't bring Charmander, and came here for a walk!" The little girl seemed to explode with anger, and she spoke excitedly while gesticulating.
Heath couldn't help laughing for a moment. He held his stomach and laughed happily. His hearty laughter echoed in the forest. The little girl looked at Heath angrily.
"Sorry, sorry... I can now confirm that you are indeed not a human, because the little girl's Pokémon is Squirtle." Heath wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes, then looked at the dazed little girl and smiled even more happily.
In order to prevent the little girl from following his words, Heath deliberately replaced Squirtle with Charmander, but she was actually fooled.
"You! You! Insidious! Cunning!... Shameless!" The little girl was so angry that she almost jumped up, with a look of shame and anger on her face.
"Sorry, sorry... ahem, let's get back to the topic. It was you who caused trouble in the Evergreen City Forest before, right? The Alliance has noticed you and is investigating and searching for you. If you are discovered, you will be arrested." Heath said with a smile.
Although he didn't know how the Alliance would deal with this Pokémon, Heath just wanted to intimidate her. Who knows, he might find out her true identity.
"I... I can change into other forms and run away! You humans will never be able to find me!" The little girl panicked for a moment, but then she found a way. The little girl's body twisted, and then a green caterpillar appeared at her original position.
Heath looked at the scene in surprise. It was too perfect. If Heath hadn't seen the caterpillar transform with his own eyes, he probably wouldn't have thought that the caterpillar was actually transformed from a little girl.
"Who said I can't recognize her? Let me tell you, there is a very powerful person living here, and your transformation cannot be hidden from her." Heath thought of Ms. Loli, that powerful woman.
The opponent's Gengar is very powerful. Heath even feels that even a Gengar trained by Kikuko, one of the Four Heavenly Kings, may not be as powerful as Ms. Loli.
"I...I..." The Caterpillar was a little flustered. Heath smiled. It seemed that this little girl had encountered an opponent who could expose her form before.
"What Pokémon are you? Mew?" Heath looked at the little girl expectantly. In his opinion, Mew was the most likely Pokémon. After all, Mew was more lively and had very strong illusion abilities.
"Huh? What is a dream? I'm not one! I'm Zoroark!" The Caterpillar twisted its body angrily, and then a brand new Pokémon appeared in front of Heath.
Heath looked at the Zoroark in front of him in surprise. He knew Zoroark, the overlord of phantoms. Although it was not a legendary Pokémon, it was still a very good Pokémon, a Pokémon with evil attributes.
And she possesses extremely strong illusion abilities. With that said, the weird illusions performed by the little girl before seem to make sense.
After all, Zoroark, the evolved form of Zoroark, is the overlord of phantoms, and the phantoms he creates even have magical effects that even cameras cannot detect.
But Heath remembered that Zoroar should not be a Pokémon from the Kanto region, so how could this Zoroar...
"You...were you captured by the Plasma Team?" Heath thought of the Plasma Team member he had entertained before, and he got a clue at that time.
The clues say that Team Plasma brought some things to the Kanto region in order to cooperate with Team Rocket. If that’s the case, could Zoroark be among them?
"You know them? You are a bad guy too!" Zoroya was furious and bared his teeth at Heath.
Before Heath had time to explain, Zoroark rushed over at high speed and scratched it with his claws, but it scratched Farfetch'd.
Dark energy bloomed on Farfetch'd. Farfetch'd looked at Zoroark blankly. It didn't quite understand why this little girl suddenly ran over and was so affectionate with it.
Heath breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that the magical protection was activated and Zoroark's dark moves were ineffective against Farfetch'd.
"I'm not a bad guy, I'm just someone who has seen Team Plasma before, and you're not a Pokémon from our area." Heath quickly explained. Although it's not Mew, Zoroark is not bad either.
And this is a different colored Zoroark.
Heath looked at the vigilant Zoroark in front of him. A normal Zoroark should have dark red fur, but this Zoroark had blue fur, which made it look very beautiful. No wonder it was a fox Pokémon.
"This is sweet and sour pork ribs, sweet and sour. Do you want to try it? Don't worry, I'll leave it here and leave." Heath put the sweet and sour pork ribs in front of himself and glanced at Soraya.
"But what I want to tell you is that the Alliance has really discovered you and they are searching for you. I don't know what will happen if you are discovered." Heath shrugged and left with Farfetch'd.
