Chapter 203 Rest

Illian was fighting the Flesh Reaper in front of him.
He dodged the opponent's fierce attack by leaning sideways, and he heard the roar of the Flesh Harvester, and the bullets from its shoulder equipment were deflected by his armor. Then more gunfire exploded around him, and those damn soldiers did not miss any opportunity to attack.
His force-field sword struck against its thick organic armor, creating a bright spark and a scratch on the thick armor with a greasy sheen. Its weapon fell with a roar, and a force-field energy flickered around it. Illian stumbled back to avoid it, but was then hit by the shock wave and hit the broken wall. His armor's built-in system kept whistling an alarm, and his retina rolled to remind him of his damage. His internal organs were damaged, and the armor's self-rescue system was automatically injecting nerve painkillers.
Pushing away the building debris that fell on him, he stood up again and rushed towards the Flesh Harvester. His armor's energy had short-circuited, and the defense function could not function properly. But he knew he could kill it. He had already injured it badly. Adjusting the energy output of the force sword to the maximum, he jumped up and stabbed it into its shoulder. The joint is always the most vulnerable part. But the Flesh Harvester quickly swung its heavy hammer and he was almost hit in the head. The wind whistled. After a quick dodge, he slashed the force sword again. This time he finally cut open its body, and some brown liquid flowed out, then vaporized and evaporated in the air.
It roared, and threw Illian , smashing its weapon into his chest. The armor emitted arcs of light, and Illian heard the sound of his sternum breaking. But the enemy's defense system also collapsed. He did not retract his sword, but stabbed it harder. The vaporized poisonous mist gushing out of the Flesh Harvester corroded his armor and body. His mouth was full of blood, and his nerves were struggling and beating violently because of the poison. The chemical drugs that were paralyzing his nerves seemed to have lost their effect, and there was only the overwhelming pain in his brain. It's not over yet, he thought, and there was almost only a twisted and beating black and yellow light in his vision. I haven't killed it yet.
In a daze, he fumbled for his Punishment Energy Gun and fired at it, burning its face with hot energy. Its claws clamped around his neck. Illian almost thought his neck was going to be crushed. But then, amid its shrill screams, he saw Sharkfang pulling a spear out of the Flesh Harvester, holding a blaster in his left hand, mercilessly burning energy beams into its body.
The Fleshreaker fell.
Sharkfang walked forward, bent down, cut open the claws of the Flesh Harvester, and kicked it away. Illian opened his eyes wide and gasped. Sharkfang was obviously also seriously injured, and he was just barely standing. His pale and bloodless cheeks were stained with bright red blood, and he was looking at him with those strange gray-blue eyes.
"Illian," he said, "how many times have you owed me a favor?"
Then, the strong light came. A bright incandescent ball of light exploded in the air. Illian looked up and saw a huge Izel alien warship being swallowed by the ball of destructive light. The dazzling light made Illian almost unable to open his eyes. The shock wave caused by the explosion triggered a violent storm, and countless building glass fragments and dirt and stones flew in the air.
Ilian squinted his eyes, his head was dizzy, and there was only a rumbling sound in his ears. His brain didn't have time to analyze what was happening.
In this bright white light, he lost consciousness.
I don’t know how long it took.
He opened his eyes.
The wind is blowing gently.
The fountain of stars above the sky is spinning.
Since arriving in Hopeland, Illian had never had the leisure to look up and appreciate this wonder. Now, as he lay on the ground, under the illumination of this beautiful and clear light, he suddenly truly felt the incomparable beauty of this star fountain. He stared at it intently, watching the twinkling stars flow quietly.
The fleet of warships, like countless meteors, was like ripples from the star fountain.
A soldier shouted: "Look!! It's the Galactic Fleet!! They're finally here!!"

When Liu Xingquan woke up, he felt a splitting headache.
Every breath he took made his throat feel like it was being sawed. He tried not to whimper and opened his eyes. His eyes were immediately filled with tears of pain because he could not adjust to the light in the room. Then he felt that it was not just his head that was aching, but his whole body was aching. His spine, his bones, his blood vessels were all screaming with tearing pain with his heartbeat.
He barely got used to the pain, and his vision finally changed from a blinding chaos to a gradually clearer reality.
He was not in the cockpit of the silver giant.
At this moment, he was lying on a clean white bed. A blue-skinned alien shouted: "@#%¥#%!#"
Then two or three more aliens walked into the room, surrounded him and muttered in a language he couldn't understand at all. Ah, the goggles that could automatically translate languages, he subconsciously reached out to touch his head, but found that the goggles were gone, and there was a bandage wrapped around his head.
The aliens continued to chatter around him, but their tone was friendly and gentle. Liu Xingquan even saw respect in their eyes. "Where am I? Where's Losa?" he asked.
"You have a head injury, so they took away your translator." A familiar voice sounded from the other side. Liu Xingquan turned around and saw his friend, Yan Zhenzhen, sitting on the other bed. He was just like he remembered him, with slightly curly hair and bright eyes, and he blinked at him.
"Yan Zhen? What's wrong with you..." Liu Xingquan, who had just asked the question, immediately covered his head in pain.
"Your injuries haven't healed yet. It's a miracle that you survived without any training or genetic modification, riding and driving those weapons from prehistoric civilizations." Yan Zhen smiled and said, "Rest well first."
An alien put a piece of metal on Liu Xingquan's arm. He felt a stinging pain, and something cold liquid was injected into his body. Yan Zhen nodded to him as if to comfort him. He had so many things to say to Yan Zhen, and so many questions to ask Yan Zhen. The war in Hope Town, this sudden journey, those beetle monsters, Uncle Ross and Little Ross, the busy work on the Flawless, and Losa... But his consciousness gradually blurred without his command, and he fell asleep again.
After that, he woke up a few more times. At first, he still couldn't understand what the medical aliens were saying. Their whispers were a kind of rustling white noise that made him feel peaceful. Later, he found that he could hear the aliens' conversations without any obstacles. Most of their words were about his injuries. He also learned that he only needed to rest for a few more days to recover. Yan Zhen told him that because they implanted an intelligent language translation chip in him, he could now communicate with most races in the galaxy without any obstacles, which was much more convenient than wearing goggles.
When he was awake longer and his body was no longer in so much pain, Yan Zhen told him some things about the outside world.
"The war is over."
After the Silver Giant destroyed the Izel Alien flagship that day, the Izel Alien soldiers became headless flies without direction, and most of the alien fleets retreated in panic. Almost at the same time, because of the letter sent by the Shadow Detective, the Idan Council realized the seriousness of the problem, and the Galaxy Fleet finally arrived at Hope Town and completely eliminated the remaining enemies.
"We won. Hope Township has been saved."
Victory, he thought. We have won.
Then he met visitors one after another. Everyone treated him with respect. The first official guest was a gorgeously dressed female lizardman. She was well-dressed, tall, and had a pair of bright yellow-brown eyes. The dark green skin exposed from her clothes reminded him of shiny dark malachite. She was followed by several followers. Yan Zhen said she was Jiang Dan, the governor of Hope Township.
"Breaker," she said very solemnly and politely, "Please accept Hope Township's sincere gratitude to you."
"?" The Destroyer? Liu Xingquan looked at her in confusion.
"That's what everyone calls you now. Your arrival on the battlefield left a deep impression on everyone." Yan Zhen smiled and said, "You are a hero now, Liu Xingquan, the Army Breaker."
"..." Liu Xingquan's face flushed. This title was too heavy for him. "I didn't do anything. Those soldiers are the heroes of this war."
"Yes, they are all heroes." Governor Jiang Dan said, she turned to Yan Zhen and said, "All the unyielding warriors who participated in this war are heroes . You from the Eye of Supervision are also a hero. Please accept my wholehearted gratitude."
Then she looked at Liu Xingquan and asked tentatively: "Excuse me, have you really received Losa's revelation?"
Liu Xingquan nodded, "It was him who helped me, and it was his friends who helped me."
"He has indeed been protecting Hope Township." Governor Jiang Dan said softly, "It's just like the legend."
Liu Xingquan asked: "Where is the silver giant?"
Governor Jiang Dan did not answer immediately. She just asked, "Did Losa leave you any message?"
Liu Xingquan shook his head.
Governor Jiang Dan looked a little gloomy after receiving this answer. She said, "The Messenger of Punishment is our name for the silver-white giant. It suddenly disappeared after destroying the flagship of the Izel alien."
"disappear?"
"Yes. We suspect it was a teleportation caused by the release of a large amount of energy that caused the space to become unstable. It ejected you and the cockpit before it disappeared. The soldiers saw it. Now everyone knows that you saved everyone."
Liu Xingquan blushed and said, "No, this is the credit of Losa, everyone, and my friend Yan Zhen."
Governor Jiang Dan smiled, "Now I know what kind of child you are. As expected, Losar would choose you."
Before leaving the ward, Jiang Dan turned around and said, "I am the descendant of Losar's comrade Xiong Shi. When I was young, I thought the stories passed down from my ancestors were just some fictional jokes. But now, thank you. Thank you for turning the legend into reality."
The Governor left.
Liu Xingquan savored the meaning of her words, and then he realized something. He turned to Yan Zhen and shouted, "Yan Zhen, are you from the Eye of Supervision???"
"I am currently an employee of a certain supervisor, so I am here." Yan Zhen looked at Liu Xingquan's face and asked, "What's wrong?"
