Chapter 20: One Night Together
I gathered all my strength, lifted Gu Ruoyan up and carried her on my shoulders, then carried her to her door, and put her down. I saw that she didn't have a bag in her hand, and I was worried that the house key was still in the Toyota, which would be very bad.

Her husband never came back and the house was empty!
I dragged her to the bed in the bedroom and threw her on it. I turned on the bedside lamp and saw that her clothes were so dirty that they could no longer be worn. I had no choice but to take off her coat and trousers and threw them on the floor, and then took off her boots.

I don't know how much time passed, but I woke up in the sunlight outside the window, and then I found an embarrassing scene: Gu Ruoyan and I were hugging each other on the bed, her head resting on my shoulder, her long hair covering half of my face. Then I remembered that she had thrown all her dirty clothes into the bathroom.

I was hungry, so I brought milk and bread to the table . Gu Ruoyan took out a bottle of jam from the cupboard and two cups of milk, and we sat down and started to eat breakfast.

At this moment, there was a sound of turning from the door lock. I turned back and saw that the security door was opened with a key. A man about thirty-six or thirty-seven years old, dressed in a suit and tie, with neat and shiny hair and a handsome face, walked in.
The man seemed quite shocked when he saw me, then his face darkened and he snorted coldly. When Gu Ruoyan saw him, her hand trembled and she poured all the milk on the table.
