Chapter 2: The sad life of comics three

After school, I asked Yan Yimu to meet me on the rooftop where we first met. Yan Yimu was timid and looked worried.
"Classmate Yuying Wu, it's better if we don't have any contact, so that they may not make things difficult for you." Yan Yimu hunched his back and kept a distance of more than ten meters from me.
I glared at him impatiently: "Who's afraid of them? Come closer, I can't hear what you are saying!" I walked to Yan Yimu and held his hand. His hand was ice cold, and he couldn't help shaking after I held it, but he quickly pulled it back.
"We... we should keep some distance. I don't want... I don't want you to be isolated." Yan Yimu unconsciously distanced himself from me again, his tone full of inferiority.
I sighed and sat down on the rooftop. The sun had begun to set. This was a great place to enjoy the sunset, but my classmates were all rushing home and no one would come here to watch the sunset.
"Yan Yimu, I want to tell you something. Maybe you think I'm making up a story, but this is indeed a magical and inexplicable thing." I looked at Yan Yimu, stretched out my hand and patted the empty space next to me, motioning for him to sit over.
Yan Yimu hesitated for a long time, looked around again, and made sure that no one was nearby, then he slowly moved over and sat down one meter away from me. He crossed his long legs, raised his chin slightly, but did not dare to look me in the eye.
"Actually, I don't belong to this world. This is... a world in comics..." I stammered. What would happen if Yan Yimu knew that this world was fake, and that he himself was fake?
Yan Yimu lowered his head, as if thinking: "I don't quite understand what you mean." He hugged his schoolbag tightly in his arms, "The world in the comics? Am I also a character in the comics?"
"Yes, this is a comic world, and you are one of the characters in the comic. I'm sorry, I don't know how I ended up here from the real world, especially... this comic was drawn by me..." At this moment, I was the one who felt deeply sorry.
"I... I don't quite understand, but, Yu Yingwu, I will believe whatever you say. It turns out you can draw comics, that's amazing." Yan Yimu said in a low voice, with a humble smile on his face all the time.
"This is not the point, I have to go back to the real world!" I was a little anxious, and stood up and shouted, "I don't belong here, and this place doesn't belong to me! I must end this absurdity!" I suddenly ran towards the edge of the roof and jumped down. Maybe this is the way to end everything. I don't believe that I will die in a comic!
However, when my body was about to hang in the air, someone hugged me tightly. I lost my balance and fell on that person. Even with my eyes closed, I knew it was Yan Yimu.
"This is the solution, don't stop me!" I got up from the ground and shouted while enduring the pain.
Yan Yimu looked at me weakly, his eyes clear and firm: "I don't know if this is the way to end everything, I only know that if you fail, you will die! I won't watch you die! I believe that if you can leave, there must be other ways, not this way of hurting yourself!"
I couldn't help but squat down and cry. I really couldn't stand it anymore. This strange world, I was isolated and even teased. I didn't even have a close friend. I wanted to go back ...
"Yu Yingwu, don't cry... I will help you, tell me, what should I do?" Yan Yimu squatted beside me, his tone anxious and confused, "I really don't know how to help you, but here, you still have me as a friend! Although I am stupid and don't know how to comfort and help people, I can protect you silently..." Yan Yimu's face flushed with nervousness, and his messy hair shook elastically with his body.
"Yan Yimu, I really didn't expect that I would meet a friend like you here..." I was a little amused, but I was really touched. At this moment, I suddenly had a new idea. Maybe I can change Yan Yimu. He deserves better. Such a warm person should not be isolated. "Don't worry, I will help you and help you get everyone's love!"
Yan Yimu wrinkled his straight nose and said humbly: "I don't need to be liked by everyone, I just want you to be happy."
I couldn't help but laugh. People really need to find some goals for themselves. When I thought about transforming the characters I created in this world, I was filled with excitement. When Yan Yimu becomes a celebrity, all the girls in the school will go crazy!
The next day was Sunday, and I asked Yan Yimu to go out with me, planning to give him a makeover first. I waited for 20 minutes in front of the barbershop, the scorching sun shining on my body, and my anger was burning, thinking, would Yan Yimu stand me up?
Just when I was stamping my feet in anger and about to spit fire, Yan Yimu finally arrived. He was wearing a dirty white T-shirt and ripped jeans. This time, his socks were not wrong, but he was wearing two different shoes! I covered my face and silently told myself to stay calm, but I couldn't help but yell, "Don't you ever check your clothes before you go out?"
Yan Yimu was timid to begin with, and he took several steps back in fear after my yell, stuttering: "I did... This was my first time, um, being asked out by a girl, and I dressed up for a long time... Really." He lowered his head and rubbed his hands.
I really wanted to keep my distance from him and tell everyone that I didn't know him, but... I had to hold back! The transformation had to be done slowly! Besides, it was me who set him up like this, so I couldn't blame him! I took a few deep breaths, calmed down, walked over and said with a smile: "It's okay, take your time, go get a haircut first."
Yan Yimu looked at me hesitantly, then covered his chicken-coop-like hair with his hands, looking somewhat unwilling, "Can I not get a haircut?"
I glared at him with a stern face: "No!" My tone was firm and unquestionable.
Yan Yimu sighed and finally walked into the barber shop with me. As soon as he entered the barber shop, he attracted everyone's attention. The sound of whispers came one after another, and even the receptionist forgot to greet us.
"Well, my friend wants to change his hairstyle and give him a more refreshing haircut." I said to the barber with a red face, and at the same time pulled Yan Yimu from behind me to the front.
"No problem, no problem, MAY, come and wash the customer's hair. This lady can sit on the sofa and wait." A handsome barber with dyed red hair walked over and said with a smile on his face.
"Okay, Yan Yimu, go wash your hair." I nodded with a smile and pushed Yan Yimu who was still standing there in a daze.
Yan Yimu went to wash his hair reluctantly, then sat in front of the mirror with messy wet hair. I looked at his rosy cheeks through the mirror, and he lowered his head nervously.
The barber came over with a bunch of hair-cutting tools, lifted up Yan Yimu's face, looked him over, covered his mouth and smiled, "You're still a handsome boy. I'll give you a good hairstyle. You'll be so charming in no time."
I laughed too, except Yan Yimu who frowned noncommittally. I lowered my head and continued to read the magazine to kill time.
"Miss, it's done. Do you think you're satisfied with it?" I was about to doze off when the excited voice of the red-haired guy woke me up. I perked up and looked towards Yan Yimu.
Although his appearance is not as good as the real Yan Yimu, this Yan Yimu is indeed good, with refreshing and neat short hair with a sense of layering, and side bangs covering half of his forehead, making him look handsome and gentle.
"Not bad, right?" I nodded with satisfaction. At least it looked much better than before.
After leaving the barber shop, I took him to buy some basic clothes and shoes. He has a good figure, and simple clothes can best show his handsomeness.
When the brand new Yan Yimu appeared in front of me, I couldn't help but be stunned. He didn't have the cold and arrogant Yan Yimu in real life. Here he had a warm and jade-like feeling, except... he was still timid. I seemed to see a new campus male god being born.
"Do I really look good like this?" Yan Yimu looked at me with a troubled look and asked.
"It looks good, so handsome!" I gave a thumbs up and nodded affirmatively.
Yan Yimu saw my expression and finally lowered his head with a faint smile. This way, I still feel quite accomplished, but it's a pity that he is a virtual character. If it was the real Yan Yimu... I suddenly hit my head. How could the real Yan Yimu live in peace with me! So, is this considered welfare time?
I dragged Yan Yimu to go shopping, and in return, he accompanied us to eat, play and pay for us! I happily spent my first weekend here.
