Chapter 2 The dead grandpa is back

My mother's voice came from outside.
When I heard her voice, my heart couldn't stop beating wildly.
My grandfather took off his shroud again?
This sentence made me feel creepy instantly, and I was so nervous that the soap in my hand fell to the ground.
I was in a hurry and didn't even wipe my body dry. I ran outside and saw my mother looking panicked.
Her eyes were filled with infinite worry, and her tone was also worried as she said, "Xiaoyang, why don't you go back to your cousin's house first ."
I know what my mother means. Now that my grandfather is dead, everyone in the house says that it has something to do with me. Plus, my grandfather refuses to wear his shroud or leave, so she must be worried that he will do something to me.
I took a deep breath, and my face couldn't help but turn a little paler.
But if I leave at this time, my second uncle and third uncle will definitely put all the blame on my parents.
"Mom, it's okay."
I tried to comfort him, but my heart started beating fast.
I forced a smile, which I felt was a little stiff: "Mom, I won't leave during the Chinese New Year. If I have to leave, I will wait until after the Chinese New Year."
"But, Xiaoyang..."
"Mom, it's okay, don't worry, let's go check it out."

I hurried outside and arrived in front of my grandfather's house again. My arrival instantly attracted everyone's attention.
When my second uncle and third uncle's families saw me, they wanted to come forward and say something, but were stopped by my eldest uncle.
The eldest uncle walked towards me, raised his hand and patted my shoulder when he got in front of me, and said meaningfully: "Xiaoyang, your grandfather's death has nothing to do with you. Don't listen to your second uncle and third uncle's nonsense. We will bury your grandfather tonight, and everything will be fine tomorrow."
My uncle and I looked at each other.
“Uncle…”
"Xiaoyang, don't worry. Grandpa has called a Taoist priest to come over. The Taoist priest will take care of all these things. Go back and have a good sleep. Don't think about anything."
"Alian, take the child back quickly."
A-Lian is my mother's name.
My uncle’s words warmed my heart, and my mother excitedly bowed to my uncle to express her gratitude.
Although I was still a little uneasy, I listened to my uncle and returned home.
My mother comforted me with a worried look on her face, telling me not to think too much and to have a good sleep. Everything would be fine after tomorrow morning.
Looking at her like this, I felt that she was more nervous than me.
I still feel a little guilty about my grandfather's death, but I'm also a little worried. He looked like he was about to come back to life.
I comforted my mother, obeyed her opinion, and walked towards the room. When I turned around, I saw that her brows relaxed a little.
I lay in bed tossing and turning but couldn't fall asleep.
As soon as I fell asleep, all I could think of was my grandfather.
I waited until twelve o'clock, and then a voice came from outside, "Xiaoyang, are you asleep?"
"Not yet, Mom."
"I'm telling you something. Your grandfather has already been put into the coffin and buried. The Taoist priest has also performed a ritual and said that everything is fine. You can sleep peacefully. Remember not to think too much."
Her voice came through the door.
I replied yes and said I would and told her not to worry too much.
Even though I said this, I still couldn't feel at ease.
I forced myself to close my eyes. On the night of New Year's Eve, the sound of firecrackers could be heard from time to time outside.
Everyone was celebrating the New Year, but something like this happened in my family.
Thinking about these things, I suddenly felt sleepy, my eyelids became heavy, and I fell asleep in a daze.
After I fell asleep, I seemed to hear a strange noise in the middle of the night. I wanted to open my eyes, but my eyelids felt so heavy as if they were pressed by a thousand-pound weight, and I couldn't open them.
I slept like this until morning, and dimly saw a ray of light like a fish belly shining in from outside.

When I followed my uncle to slaughter pigs, I developed the habit of getting up early.
Usually they get up around four o'clock, drag the pigs out, kill them, and then bleed them, remove the hair, etc.
I yawned and stretched. Maybe it was because I didn’t sleep well last night, I felt dizzy and exhausted all over.
I sat on the edge of the bed and was about to put on my shoes, but at this moment, I felt a chill on my forehead.
I touched it with my hand and found that "water" was dripping on my forehead.
I wondered if the house was leaking?
My house is a brick and tile house, so it is normal to leak.
However, when I rubbed the water with my hands, I found that it was a bit sticky and did not look like rain water.
I subconsciously put my fingers under my nose and sniffed, and immediately a foul odor came. My heart sank, and I quickly looked up, and saw a corpse hanging above my head.
His head was hanging on a hemp rope, hanging down. His face was covered with corpse spots and had begun to rot. It seemed as if his eyeballs could not be held in their sockets and were hanging outside as if they would fall out at any time.
Because the "corpse water" produced by decay is still dripping down.
I looked at him, and the next second, I let out a scream.
I was so scared early in the morning that I ran out without any hesitation.
With a "bang" , I opened the door and it hit the wall.
I ran in a panic and soon bumped into my dad.
"What's wrong? Xiaoyang, why do you look so ugly?"
My lips trembled: "Grandpa is back."
After a while, I opened my mouth to say this. My father's face changed drastically: "Where?"
"In my room."
My dad was obviously frightened as well, and then he said to me, "Don't go back to the house yet, wait here, I'll go call your uncle."
"good."
I agreed, but at this time I was sitting in the main room and was extremely frightened.
I started to panic, wondering if my grandfather really wouldn't let me go.
One thing that stuck in my mind was my grandfather climbing out of his coffin and hanging from the beam in my room .
But shouldn’t he? If Grandpa really wanted to kill me, he would just do it to me?
Why did you come back and hang on the beam?
I was troubled, but I couldn't figure out why.
I frowned and thought for a long time. Cold sweat broke out on my palms and back. I had never been so nervous before.
Just as I was thinking about these things, a hurried sound came from outside.
My father and my uncle ran over in a hurry, both panting heavily.
When my uncle saw me, the first thing he said was, "Xiaoyang, are you okay?"
