Chapter 2 Memories in Coffee 1
The warm orange sunlight shone through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Yige slowly opened her eyes. Oh, it was daybreak.
At night, Yige likes to pull aside the light blue curtains of the French windows, lie on the soft and comfortable bed, look at the black velvet sky and the stars shining like rhinestones, and fall into a sweet dream. In the morning, when the first ray of morning sunlight shines on her face, she wakes up naturally.
She sat up, stretched, raised her head, and embraced the warm sunshine. It was a comfortable morning, and the sunshine swept away the haze of the night.
She got dressed and went downstairs, and Sister Qiu was already setting out the chopsticks.
"Good morning, Sister Qiu!" Yi Ge smiled sweetly and sniffed exaggeratedly, smelling the rich, mouth-watering aroma. "Wow, Sister Qiu, what smells so good? Have you researched some new breakfast?"
Sister Qiu turned around: "Oh, Miss, you're up." Sister Qiu looked at her lovingly and said with a smile, "Today, I'm making Italian pizza, Miss, you like it."
In a wealthy family, you can eat whatever you want in the morning.
Yige likes German breakfast, which includes sweet bread with jam, crispy fried eggs, cool juice, vegetable salad, fruit salad, and strong-tasting sausages or bacon. There is also American breakfast, which includes rich round hamburgers, hot milk, fresh fruits with dew, and oatmeal. Of course, she also likes Italian breakfast.
This morning, an Italian breakfast was already prepared on the large white dining table: a cup of fragrant coffee, a soft white bread with butter, a plate of preserved fruits, almonds, hazelnuts and other nuts, and an appetite-stimulating pizza.
My father seemed very happy today. He took a bite of pizza, looked up and asked, "Ge'er, what are you going to do today? If you have time, would you like to come to my company and take a look?"
Yi Ge was stunned. She was her father's only . Her father always hoped that she could inherit his career, but now, she had no interest in these things at all... What's more, she really had something to do today.
Yige stuck out her tongue and smiled: "Dad, you forgot that today is Saturday and I have to go to the Children's Hospital to volunteer."
The father suddenly remembered, nodded, and said with a smile: "Yes, today is Saturday, I forgot. Alas, I've been busy lately." He looked at Yige lovingly, "Ge'er, when can you help dad share some of his worries, dad will feel much more relaxed."
Yige said coquettishly, "Dad, you should at least wait until I graduate from college! If I come to help you now, I don't know anything, won't I make things worse ?"
She put down her knife and fork, walked over, put her arms around her father's neck and said, "Dad, don't worry, I will definitely help you in the future and won't let you be so tired."
The father smiled and patted her head: "Good girl!" It can be seen that Yi Ge made her father very happy.
As if remembering something, my father suddenly said, "The Children's Hospital seems to be far away from our home. How about letting Dalin take you there today?"
Yige pouted: "I want to go by myself. Wasn't it good enough for me to go by myself before?"
The father shook his head helplessly: "Okay. Ge'er, go home early."
She nodded heavily: "Okay, Dad, I won't let you worry."
