Chapter 2 It's You, Little Brat
When Chen Shuya returned home, she heard the sound of something being thrown before she even stepped into the house.
They were arguing again.
She stood there in a daze, listening to the heart-wrenching quarrels and the crackling sounds of things being thrown in the house, feeling indescribable in her heart.
She is very scared.
Taking a deep breath, Chen Shuya turned and walked in the opposite direction.
Chen Shuya had little money on her and was wandering aimlessly on the street. She kicked the stones under her feet as she walked, and suddenly an idea flashed through her mind.
bookstore.
It doesn't cost money and you can kill time.
Chen Shuya walked into the same bookstore she visited last time. The owner greeted her and then went on with his own business.
She walked straight to the last row of bookshelves, bent down and sat cross-legged on the ground, and took out a book from the bottom shelf with ease, "A Shuai".
As I was watching happily, someone pushed the door open and walked in. A few minutes later, the footsteps gradually approached the last row.
Chen Shuya didn't take it seriously, thinking that he was just a customer who came to buy books, and continued to happily read comics with her head buried.
The footsteps stopped beside Chen Shuya. After about a few minutes, the person next to her didn't move at all. She felt strange and looked up.
Cheng Xiang leaned against the bookshelf, tilted his head and looked at her with a smile in his eyes.
Chen Shuya blinked without saying anything. She sat on the ground and looked at him. Neither of them spoke, and the atmosphere was a little subtle.
When she noticed that Cheng Xiang's eyes moved to the book in her hand, she spoke.
"Do you want to see Ah Shuai..."
Cheng Xiang was stunned for a moment, unable to hide the smile in his eyes, and couldn't help teasing her: "Student Chen, do you want to read books here for free?"
He is so weird, Chen Shuya thought.
"I just want to stay until dark before going home. Are you going to chase me away?"
"No." Cheng Xiang turned his head to look at his father who was packing up at the counter and preparing to go home for dinner. He turned his head and asked with a smile: "There is a TV in front, otherwise where can you go to watch Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf?"
Chen Shuya raised her head with a slightly disdainful expression: "That's for kids to watch."
five minutes later.
Chen Shuya sat on a stool behind the counter, staring intently at Big Bad Wolf catching sheep on the green grassland.
Cheng Xiang was sitting in a rocking chair with his legs crossed, playing games. The store was very quiet, with no other sounds except for cartoons and game announcements.
Just as I was fascinated by the scene, someone pushed the door open and shouted excitedly, "Brother Cheng, do you want to have a barbecue?"
Chen Shuya looked over when she heard the voice and her eyes met Yang Yi's.
Yang Yi thought she looked familiar, and after thinking for a while he finally remembered who she was. He walked over to Cheng Xiang and teased, "Isn't this the pretty girl from this morning? Why are you here?"
"Little beauty?" Cheng Xiang glanced at Chen Shuya who was concentrating on watching cartoons, and replied nonchalantly: "Little brat."
Chen Shuya curled her lips, looked at the sky outside the window which was already darkening, and heard Yang Yi pulling Cheng Xiang to go out for dinner, so she knew it was time to leave.
She stood up, grabbed her schoolbag and put it on her back. She turned around and whispered to Cheng Xiang, "Thank you for letting me watch TV." After thinking for a moment, she added, "Thank you in the morning, too. Goodbye."
After saying that, Chen Shuya opened the door and ran away.
Watching her leave, Cheng Xiang withdrew his gaze and continued playing the game.
Yang Yi said: "It's very beautiful."
Cheng Xiang hummed, "What girl of this age isn't pretty?"
Chen Shuya thought she would never have any contact with Cheng Xiang again until the next day when the head teacher changed her seat at school.
Looking in the direction the head teacher pointed, only the seat in front of Cheng Xiang was empty.
Chen Shuya opened her mouth to ask why, but the head teacher spoke first, as if predicting it: "He is a poor student and you are the only one he knows in the class. You should tutor him."
In silence, Chen Shuya moved the book to the table in front of Cheng Xiang.
In fact, most people in the class knew Cheng Xiang, but Cheng Xiang didn’t know them.
Cheng Xiang was not a good student, but he was not a bad student who fought every day and did not study hard. It was just that when he was in the second year of high school, he pinned a boy on the playground and beat him half to death in public.
After this incident, many people became familiar with the name Cheng Xiang.
They were all afraid of Cheng Xiang, but Cheng Xiang would not put on airs and bully others. He was well-mannered and handsome, so he got a very fresh nickname.
"Cheng·Qualified·Somewhat social·Handsome guy·Supply"
When Chen Shuya was changing seats with her book in her arms, Cheng Xiang was sleeping on the table.
He was sleeping when she went to the bathroom.
He was sleeping while she was writing the test paper.
When he was about to finish the paper, he woke up.
Cheng Xiang stood up with the help of the table, rubbed his hair casually, and tapped Chen Shuya's back sleepily.
She turned around and looked at him in confusion. Cheng Xiang was stunned for a moment, then smiled and said, "It's you, little brat."
The corners of Chen Shuya's mouth twitched. She felt a little unhappy and wanted to give him a few slaps.
Cheng Xiang yawned, stretched his hand in front of her and said nothing.
His hands were very nice, white, slender and long. Chen Shuya looked at his hands, then raised her eyes to look at him: "What are you doing?"
"Copy the test paper for me." As he said this, his hands shook.
So righteous.
Chen Shuya raised her eyebrows: "Then beg me."
Hearing this, Cheng Xiang's movements paused slightly, obviously not expecting her to say that. He withdrew his hand, and the smile deepened.
Seeing Cheng Xiang withdraw his hand, Chen Shuya's heart leaped with joy. It turned out that to deal with shameless people, one had to use shameless methods.
The next second, Cheng Xiang spoke.
"Please."
Chen Shuya was a little petrified. Cheng Xiang said frivolously, "I'm done , classmate Chen."
I still underestimated how shameless he was.
There were still twenty minutes left before the exam was due. Chen Shuya grabbed the test paper and slapped it in his hand, signaling him to copy it quickly. Cheng Xiang nodded slightly.
He wrote very quickly and finished copying a test paper on time.
After handing in the test paper, he was the first one to leave the classroom and leave school. Chen Shuya was the student on duty. After everyone in the class left one after another, she slowly stood up.
When I scanned the last row where Cheng Xiang sat, I saw a piece of pink paper lying quietly under his seat, flat, with a footprint on it.
Chen Shuya thought it was Cheng Xiang's copied homework or something, so she picked it up. She glanced at it unintentionally, and raised her arm again when she was about to put the paper down.
The handwriting on the paper is serious and cute.
"Student Cheng Xiang, I saw you playing basketball on the playground. I really want to get to know you. If possible, could you add my contact information?"
Chen Shuya moved her eyes downwards and saw a signature at the end of the paper: Class Three, Zhang Yeshi.
The signature was written in very small letters, almost invisible.
Looking at the footprints on the paper, it seemed that Cheng Xiang had already seen it.
Ning Yan's voice came from outside the door, and Chen Shuya hurriedly stuffed the paper into her pocket.
Ning Yan jumped into the classroom and urged, "Hurry up, I'll take you to eat grilled squid later."
Chen Shuya tucked her hair behind her ears to hide her inner panic. She nodded and responded, "Right away."
