Chapter 2 Green Channel 1. Attack
Starting from 17 degrees north latitude, there is a secret passage connecting the northern and southern guerrilla zones of Country Y. This is a transportation road that passes through the jungle and is connected by means of backs, shoulders, bullock carts, and bicycles. Country M, as the world's number one military power, used all means they could think of to try to destroy this major artery of transportation that supports the guerrilla warfare in the south, causing great damage to the green channel.
1. Attack
The Tigers redistributed the troops before setting foot on the green channel.
He and Captain Chen of the Y Army led Yin Yang Wu Chang, Sharpshooter , Old Monk and the first row of the Y Army in the middle, Big Mouth and Water Snake, Machine Gun, Clairvoyant and the second row of the Y Army on the left, Warrior and Egg Biter, Mortar, Goat and the third row of the Vietnamese Army on the right, crossing along the green channel. Every day, each of the Tiger brothers took turns to lead the team on duty, and the Y Army also rotated one person to be the platoon leader on duty every day.
The green passage passes through the jungle, with towering trees on both sides, making the entire road as quiet as a forest path. However, the mountain road is ups and downs, with many unexpected bends, which makes people have to be alert at all times for what is going to happen ahead.
The first battle soon arrived. According to legend, this road has countless directions. This confused the special forces of the M Army, and they searched for this path every day in an attempt to destroy it!
Tiger and his men entered the Green Channel just when the M Army Special Forces were rampant in the jungle. The first combat plan Tiger formulated was to teach this M Army Special Forces a lesson.
They first smelled the scent of war when they were about to enter Reception Station No. 39 in the area.
It was a dusk in the jungle. The dim sunset shone through the forest, rendering everything particularly beautiful. The independent bamboo building of Reception Station No. 39 was like a quiet and graceful lady. Tiger made gesture, and the soldiers automatically flashed into the jungle.
Water Snake and Egg Biter were the duty officers of the other two teams today. They had brought a duty platoon leader of the Y Army over. After waiting for a long time, the scouts who had gone out did not come back.
Everyone stared at Tiger, who was staring at the bamboo building not far away. "I have a feeling that we will soon run into the M Army. From today on, I have decided to stop at every reception station for analysis before entering." He took off the telescope and looked at it. "Okay, tell me if there is anything unusual about this reception station?"
Everyone was observing the reception station through binoculars.
The Egg Biter suddenly spoke up: "Since the M Army is a special forces unit, they must be very good at concealment. I have an idea to determine whether the M Army attacked the reception station."
"What's the idea?" The tiger turned around.
"Water snakes know how to do this."
"Alerting the snake!" The water snake stared at the tiger expressionlessly.
The tiger stared at the water snake and nodded.
Water Snake walked back to his left team and pointed at a Y soldier: "You, follow me!"
The two walked along the path, step by step towards Ru.
To get to the reception station, you have to cross a small river. It is small because it is not famous, or there are too many rivers like this in this area. However, even a small river has an amazing flow rate due to the abundant rainfall. The river water keeps crashing and foaming. At this moment, the setting sun dyes the river water golden, and a small bamboo bridge is built across it.
The water snake and the soldier walked on it, as if they had merged into a fairy tale world.
Tiger ordered sternly: "All snipers, led by the sharpshooter, monitor the reception station. If any enemy appears, shoot them all! The rest of you, listen to my orders and quickly cross the river to implement Action Plan No. 1!"
More than a dozen Y-army soldiers followed the sharpshooter and moved forward quickly. Suddenly, the water snake and the soldier jumped into the river and shouted loudly: "M-army is coming, M-army is coming!" But the reception station was strangely quiet.
This is certainly not normal. If the reception station had not been attacked, someone should have come out after hearing this roar!
The tiger sneered and said, "Charge!" He pounced on the bamboo bridge and rushed to the other side like lightning.
The machine guns in the reception station fired, and a fierce rain of bullets poured towards the bamboo bridge. Because the distance was too far, the bullets did not pose much threat to Tiger and his men. Shuishe and the soldier climbed onto the shore and approached the reception station along the bushes by the river . The fully armed M army finally appeared in the reception station and quickly rushed towards the bamboo bridge.
These special forces from Country M were all wearing bulletproof vests, thick helmets, and holding AK-47s. They had obviously received good field combat training. They rushed forward with murderous intent, but they did not shoot randomly. Instead, they quickly seized positions.
But this time they encountered a tiger.
The tiger continued to charge forward, like a black shadow in the yellow light of the setting sun. The soldiers, like a group of eagles with spread wings, followed the tiger and pounced silently to the other side. The flying bullets seemed to be cheering them on.
They charged forward as if they were treating the M Army special forces as spectators. They were of course annoying spectators, because they wanted to stop the show and even eliminate the performers.
The sharpshooter who was ambushing on the mountain with his snipers muttered, "M country guy, let me show you the Chinese shooting skills, so you can learn a lesson!"
With a gentle click of the trigger, a bullet drew a beautiful arc and penetrated the head of the M Army special forces soldier who was rushing in the front. The M Army special forces soldier continued to rush forward due to inertia and rolled down the hillside.
"Bang, bang, bang, bang!" The Y Army snipers following the sharpshooter fired one after another. The bullets were like flying fireflies, hitting the M Army that was rushing forward one by one.
These Y Army snipers obviously had not received any special sniper training, but since they were selected to be snipers, they certainly had excellent marksmanship, or in other words, they were just a little bit short of it. The consequence of being just a little bit short of it was that they could not kill with one shot.
The soldiers of Country M obviously valued their lives more than anything else, or rather, they did not like to fight desperately, so they immediately began to retreat. The firepower of the reception station also quickly retreated, forming a firepower barrier behind the retreating soldiers to prevent the enemy from capturing their wounded soldiers. Tiger's goal was to eliminate this group of special forces of Country M. Therefore, he and the soldiers he led quickly disappeared into the jungle surrounding the reception station.
Mortar and his new partner continued to climb up the mountain with rocket launchers in hand, and settled down on a tall banyan tree; Gong Yangzi and Qianliyan led the Y country soldiers to work in the bamboo forest, chopping down the hard bamboos, cutting out the bamboo thorns one by one, and tying them into bundles; the sharpshooter came over with the sniper and set up sniper positions around the reception station.
The setting sun was setting slowly, and the sky and earth turned from golden to bright. The jungle, which had been briefly peaceful, began to hear the sound of sniper rifles being fired again.
The exposed personnel of the M Army were shot and killed. The machine guns and portable artillery of the M Army began to bombard the surrounding woods frantically. However, the bullets and shells hit the dense jungle and were lost like a stone in the sea. The M Army, which could not figure out the real situation, did not attack. They had their own habits, and they would not fight without planes and artillery.
The sky gradually became darker, and Gong Yangzi and Qianliyan moved faster and faster.
Two armed helicopters appeared at this time. Under the command of the M army on the ground at the reception station, the multiple rocket launchers and machine guns on the helicopters began to frantically fire at the jungle around the reception station. The M army in the reception station also suddenly appeared, using flamethrowers to spray the surrounding jungle, and the scorching heat immediately ignited the jungle.
The enemy's artillery and machine guns set up in the reception station also began to fire wildly at the jungle. For a moment, the entire reception station and the surrounding jungle were dancing a crazy dance .
Tiger and his soldiers, including the sniper, kept retreating under Tiger's orders.
The rotor blades of the two helicopters created a huge circle of wind and descended toward the reception station. They hovered over the reception station and dropped a soft rope like a belt. The M army rushed out of the reception station one by one and climbed toward the soft rope dropped by the helicopter.
Tiger waved his hand to stop the soldier who was about to rush out and shoot, and suddenly grinned: "Damn it!"
Before he finished speaking, a ball of fire came down from a big banyan tree, like a ball of lightning, and hit a helicopter. There was a huge noise in an instant, and the helicopter exploded into pieces like a toy.
The M army screamed and fled to the reception station. Another helicopter hurriedly climbed up into the sky. A M soldier was hanging at the bottom of the soft rope.
Tiger took a sniper rifle and fired one shot. The American soldier's hand loosened and he fell like a stone.
Tiger blew a whistle softly: "All teams retreat to a safe location to rest, and leave snipers to monitor these M countrymen!"
The entire reception station and the surrounding jungle fell into silence again. Only the fire was still burning. The sky darkened, the moon climbed up in the east, and the soldiers snored everywhere. Who snored the loudest? It was the tiger! This was called Big Mouth, and he was very dissatisfied because his snoring was louder than his.
The fire gradually died out and time passed by little by little.
The M army was very busy, they kept firing flares. They were afraid of the darkness, actually they were afraid that these "enemies" would attack at night.
