Chapter 137: Heavenly fire burns the sky!
In the cockpit of Shandong Airlines Flight 9451, after the plane took off and entered a stable climb, the surroundings were still pitch black. The take-off time of this flight was too early and there was still some time before sunrise.
It's not that Shandong Airlines doesn't have other flights to Hanjing at a relatively normal time, but the next flight will not take off until after 3pm, and it will be close to 6pm when it lands at Hanjing Airport. For this group of people who were anxious to go to the General Administration to file a "complaint" , the matter could not be delayed at all, so they insisted and chose such a flight with such an inhumane take-off time.
About ten minutes after takeoff, the plane climbed to 7,200 meters. If it were in the western region, this altitude would be far below the cruising altitude, but in the eastern coastal region, due to the extremely busy airspace, planes are generally not allowed to fly too high.
After leveling off at 7,200 meters, the originally set cruising altitude was 9,200 meters. If it was on a Boeing aircraft, Shi Qitu would have asked Wu Taiming to adjust the cruising altitude to 7,200 meters to save trouble. If the aircraft went to a higher altitude later, in order to avoid the unplanned descent fault light being triggered after failing to reach the predetermined cruising altitude after a long period of time, the working logic of the pressurization system would be involved.
However, an unplanned descent cannot be considered a malfunction. It is just a state that deviates from the preset conditions. In the handling procedure, it is only necessary to set the cruising altitude to a relatively lower altitude.
Unlike Boeing's pressurization logic, the Airbus flight crew monitoring system works without human control. The system will change the air pressure in the cabin according to the external plan based on the signals received from the flight management and guidance system under the action of two cabin pressure controllers, a residual pressure control unit, three motor-driven outflow valves, a control panel and two safety valves.
Due to Airbus's extremely high level of automation, if FMGS data is not available for automatic pressurization, the flight crew can complete manual pressurization control by adjusting the elevation of the landing airport. After that, the pressurization system will use the manually adjusted landing airport elevation to adjust its own pressurization plan.
In a sense, this is somewhat similar to Boeing, that is, when the predetermined cruising altitude is not reached and the aircraft is not pressurized according to the normal pressurization plan, the aircraft will instead readjust its pressurization logic according to the altitude of the take-off airport (this is actually a relatively large hidden danger).
Although Airbus and Boeing have some differences in pressurization logic and the roles played by the crew, they are similar in pressurization profiles, namely ground, takeoff, climb, cruise, descent and interruption modes.
The logic of ground mode is that before takeoff and five seconds after landing, the outflow valve is kept fully closed to ensure that there is no residual cabin pressure. After touchdown, if there is residual cabin pressure, it is released at a cabin altitude vertical rate of about 500 feet per minute.
Generally speaking, there should be no cabin pressurization after landing, or at least there should not be too obvious pressurization, because if the pressure in the cabin is not released, it may lead to an embarrassing situation, that is, the cabin door cannot be opened.
In takeoff mode, before the aircraft is about to take off, in order to prevent the aircraft from tilting its head and causing a sudden change in pressure, the pressurization system will pre-pressurize the cabin. That is, the aircraft's starting cabin altitude is not the airport's altitude, but the difference between the two is 0.1 PSI, so the aircraft's starting cabin altitude will be slightly lower.
After that, the aircraft is pressurized according to the pre-arranged rules while taking into account the actual climb rate, and finally completes the cruise at a cabin altitude of no more than 8,000 feet. However, unlike the climb mode, when the pressurization system switches to the descent mode, it actually releases the cabin pressure of the aircraft before landing to a pressure altitude of 0.1 PSI higher than the landing airport at a relatively gentle cabin descent rate.
Generally speaking, taking into account the comfort of passengers, the cabin altitude descent rate will not exceed 750 feet per minute. Once the aircraft lands, the valve will be fully opened under certain conditions to ensure complete decompression, and the cycle will repeat.
Of course, from the pilot's perspective, the Airbus pressurization system is obviously more automated, safer and more comfortable. However, it does not mean that Airbus has overwhelmed Boeing in terms of pressurization. It's just that Boeing's pressurization logic, especially in classic models, actually has loopholes. In some cases, the pilot actually only made a relatively small mistake and then it would lead to very serious consequences. If it is placed on an Airbus aircraft, this kind of error will not be infinitely magnified. (I don't know if there are any pilots who fly Boeing, at least the pressurization logic of the 737 is really not good.)
After adjusting the cockpit lights from off to dim, Shi Qi pulled his seat back and leaned sideways to take the pillow that the flight attendant had placed on the observer's seat.
For pilots, some small items are necessary. For example, newspapers are used to block the sun. Without newspapers, the sun will make the crew blurred at high altitudes during the day. However, later generations of crews have eliminated newspapers and replaced them with some customized sunshades. Some later aircraft models even come with such systems.
In addition to sunshades, there is also a pillow. You don't have to bring your own, because there are pillows on the plane, and flight attendants with a little work experience will know to send enough pillows to the cockpit before takeoff.
Pilots need pillows not for sleeping in the cockpit, but for supporting their waists. Although the surface of the cockpit seats is designed to be relatively soft, it is not enough to support sitting for several hours. Without pillows, most pilots' waists will be broken by the age of 35.
After stuffing the pillow behind his waist, Shi Qi winked at Wu Taiming, who was quite smart and said immediately, "Take over the controls."
Now that Wu Taiming was in charge of the communication, Shi Qi felt more relaxed. He took off his earphones and hung them on the side window handle. Shi Qi put his hands behind his head and asked, "Are you from NTU? I don't recognize you."
"Teacher, I'm from Shanhang."
"From Shandong Airlines, does Shandong Airlines have a first mate from Airbus?" This made Shi Qi stunned for a moment. He remembered that Shandong Airlines was only changing second mates and trainees on a large scale, but he had never heard of a first mate changing aircraft models.
There is no way. Changing the model midway is costly and they are unwilling to do so. Because even if Airbus acknowledges Boeing's experience, it is not the case that Boeing's technical level can be directly replicated on Airbus's side. Most of the new levels are one or two levels lower, which makes people quite uncomfortable.
"Yes!" Wu Taiming's face fell when talking about this: "The fleet started to let a small number of first officers switch to Airbus quite early on. Of course, everyone was unwilling to go, so they drew lots. Five of the nearly one hundred first officers were drawn, and I was the one drawn!"
A few days ago, Wu Taiming and Lu Xiaoxiao and other friends were caught drinking in Hanjing by Deng Wenjia. That time, Wu Taiming went to the National University Aviation Simulator Center in Hanjing for an examination.
Wu Taiming had won the prize with a probability of about one in twenty, so he complained to a few friends and then accidentally drank too much. Then his luck got worse and he was caught by Deng Wenjia.
Because there were only a very small number of modified aircraft models before, Shandong Airlines would not specifically reserve a large number of simulators, so it simply used the simulator from National Taiwan Airlines, and even the training instructors and accommodation were arranged by National Taiwan Airlines.
Guoda Airlines forced a bunch of planes on Shandong Airlines in order to optimize its fleet structure. He was quite happy about it, but he knew in his heart that Shandong Airlines was at a disadvantage, and he still felt a little embarrassed, so he readily took over all matters related to the simulator training of Wu Taiming and five other deputy officers.
Although in theory NTU Airlines sent some Airbus instructors, pilots and a first officer to help Shan Airlines solve the problem of insufficient manpower in the early stage, it would still take some time for their own second officers and trainees who had transferred to Airbus to grow up to be independent first officers. Therefore, they had no choice but to bite the bullet and send their own Airbus first officers to avoid any unexpected situations.
As for the captain and above technical level, it is easy to solve. Once the Airbus fleet is completely stable, the captains can be directly transferred from the Boeing fleet to Airbus.
Unlike the co-pilots who have an urgent desire to become captains, once they become captains, their desire to be promoted is slightly lower. After all, even if they become instructors, their hourly wages will not be much higher, and they will need to bear the additional risk of flying. Therefore, there are even some lazy captains who never want to be promoted, and even when the time comes, they will stay at the level of solo captains and would rather die than become instructors.
Compared with the transfer of the co-pilot, which involves a reduction in rank, it is much easier for the captain to transfer between aircraft types, especially from Boeing to Airbus, and there is little loss.
Therefore, many pilots who want to change aircraft types will not choose to change aircraft types during the co-pilot stage, as that would cause trouble for themselves. Generally, they have to wait until the captain is hired, so that they can change aircraft types without pressure.
Given that there is no loss for the captain to change aircraft types, the management of Shandong Airlines believes that there will still be some captains who wish to change aircraft types in the future, and it is almost sufficient to accept these captains.
After all, not everyone is like Xu Cang, who has seen and flown all kinds of aircraft models. Flying Boeing for a long time is like the seven-year itch in marriage. There will always be a time when two people get tired of each other. It is also human nature to change the aircraft model to change the taste.
In addition, appropriate subsidies can be given to the captains who switched to a new aircraft type in the early stage, which can greatly increase their desire to switch to a new aircraft type. Therefore, Shandong Airlines is not too worried about the personnel issues of the captain and the captain position.
Shi Qi didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "You are a bit lucky. But why do I remember that this class was originally taught by Hu Jing?"
"Brother Hu said he had something urgent to do, so the dispatcher asked me to fly." Wu Taiming scratched his head. "The company said that we suffered a loss by arranging us to switch to another aircraft type. They will try their best to arrange flights for us to fly in the future so that we can earn more money, which can be regarded as compensation. They said that the average working hours of a Boeing deputy in the company is more than 60. According to the company, the average working hours of the five of us who switched to Airbus can reach 80 hours in the future."
Shi Qi nodded: "Then your company still has some conscience."
Apart from other things, Shandong Airlines is relatively generous in treating its employees. It is for this reason that most of its employees are willing to devote themselves to the company.
"I used to think our company was pretty good, but not this time." Wu Taiming deliberately lowered his voice and pointed towards the rear cabin: "I heard about Xu Cang's incident. Our company really didn't say a word to protect Xu Cang. Teacher, don't you think this is not good?"
Shi Qi raised his eyebrows: "Has Xu Cang's matter been widely spread among your co-pilot circle?"
"Not many, mainly because Xu Cang being a meritorious pilot sounds ridiculous from any angle, so even if many people heard about Xu Cang, they mostly just listened to it for fun and didn't think it was true." At the end, Wu Taiming approached Shi Qi and looked at him with an extremely curious look: "Teacher, tell me something, is Xu Cang a meritorious pilot true?"
Shi Qi smiled but did not answer immediately. Instead, he raised his hand and turned the passenger seat belt signal light to the automatic position. Then he smiled and said, "Just now on the tarmac, you said that those twenty or so old men looked scary. Do you know who they are? Do you know what they are going to do in Hanjing?"
Shi Qi knew the identities of those twenty-something people, but he did not show any respect to them and simply treated them as old men, which was a kind of teasing term.
"I don't really know about this, but I feel that those people are ferocious and probably not good people." Wu Taiming pretended to be innocent and started to make up stories about the twenty or so meritorious pilots. In fact, it was not Wu Taiming's fault. It can only be said that Shi Qi started a bad precedent. Shi Qi's titles for the twenty or so people were not polite at all, so that Wu Taiming could not associate the three words "old man" with meritorious pilots.
Shi Qi laughed heartily: "Those twenty-odd people are... meritorious pilots from eight airlines in total. As for what they are going to Hanjing for, they must be going to file a complaint, a complaint against Xu Cang!"
"Gong..." Wu Taiming just raised the bottle of mineral water to drink, but halfway through the drink, he heard Shi Qi talking about the identities of those people. He was so shocked that he almost spit out a mouthful of water.
But if the water sprayed out and caused a short circuit in the electronic system, it would be a big problem. So Wu Taiming pressed the water back.
However, most of the gas came out of Wu Taiming's nostrils, which was an explosive scene. He was a meritorious pilot. There was no pilot in the entire Shandong Airlines who was awarded the title of meritorious pilot.
No! It seems Xu Cang is the one!
When Wu Taiming thought about how he described those meritorious pilots as vicious and bad people, he felt that his future was bleak.
He pointed to the top board and said, "Instructor, should the cabin audio only record the last thirty minutes?"
Shi Qi smiled and said, "I don't know about that. I heard that some airlines have already started to modify their cabin sound systems to extend the cabin sound recording. I wonder what the status of Shandong Airlines is?"
"Ah?" Wu Taiming's mind went blank. His finger hovered over the cabin noise canceling button for a moment, but he didn't dare to press it in the end. He slumped down in his seat, having lost interest in the ride.
When Shi Qi saw Wu Taiming like this, he immediately felt happy. He had been feeling irritable recently, and it was quite interesting to tease Wu Taiming, a co-pilot, with him.
So, thinking that it was almost done, he prepared to explain it to Wu Taiming. But just as he was about to open his mouth, his nose twitched a few times, and the smile on his face gradually faded. He patted Wu Taiming and said, "Boy, do you smell anything?"
…
In the cabin, Xu Cang sat in the middle seat of the economy class with ordinary passengers, while the more than 20 meritorious pilots who had complained were all arranged in the first class and business class in the front.
From the time Shi Lingling appeared to his insistence on going to the General Administration's Arbitration Court to make a major decision, Xu Cang's mood has been restless for the past two days. The feeling of powerlessness in the face of the tide of the times made him feel very uncomfortable.
However, after gradually calming down from the initial helplessness and irritability, Xu Cang finally found himself. Especially on the night before departure, he and Qin Xin counted the stars for a long time under the night sky. The last trace of ripples in his heart was smoothed out.
At this moment, Xu Cang doesn't care so much about the arbitration decision in the near future. As long as he is firm in his beliefs, he will overcome difficulties and break through obstacles. What's the point of hiding in a corner and feeling sorry for himself?
At this time, the plane had not yet entered full cruising time, and the lights in the cabin were still dim. Xu Cang was sitting by the window, and next to him sat a middle-aged man who fell asleep as soon as he sat down. Until now, there was still no movement from him, and it was unknown whether he was asleep.
The take-off time is still too early, but this inhumane take-off time does in a sense provide benefits to some passengers who don't mind getting up early, that is, the air ticket prices are generally lower.
Qizhou to Hanjing is not a tourist route, and is not covered by the document issued by the authority not long ago on the deregulation of air ticket prices for some routes. However, the authority does not allow airlines to adjust prices at will, which does not mean that they can only set prices completely. If the prices fluctuate within a small range, the authority will not interfere.
After all, it seems a bit stupid that a flight taking off at 5am in the morning has the same price as a flight taking off comfortably at 10am in the morning.
That's right. Even though the take-off time was not convenient, the occupancy rate of this flight was still quite good. When the passengers first boarded, Xu Cang casually glanced around and estimated that it was at least 70% full.
For the era in 2000 when airplanes were still high-end, an occupancy rate of over 70% was definitely very good.
At this moment, the sun was still hiding itself, and the moon was also shyly leaving, nowhere to be seen, so that Xu Cang could only distinguish the movement of the clouds among a few tiny stars to judge that the plane was moving forward.
The cabin was so quiet at such a suitable time and environment for sleeping that one could even hear a few faint snoring sounds nearby. It can only be said that the quality of these passengers is still very high, and their behavior is so subtle even after falling asleep.
There was still some time before landing in Hanjing. Xu Cang was the kind of person who liked to sleep in, and getting up early was extremely difficult for him. He originally thought that he would sleep all the way until landing after getting on the plane, but in fact, Xu Cang was in good spirits and was not very sleepy.
However, in the dim cabin, Xu Cang couldn't turn on the light to read the magazine, which was not good for his eyes. So, after some hesitation, Xu Cang wrapped himself in the blanket that the flight attendant had brought him when he was on the ground, and planned to close his eyes and cultivate sleepiness.
However, just as Xu Cang adjusted his sitting position and closed his eyes, he heard a sound like a drowning person suffocating. Xu Cang's hair stood on end, and he opened his eyes suddenly, and immediately found that the middle-aged man sitting next to him was pinching his neck, like a chicken being held, and his throat made a series of heart-pounding noises.
Because the light was too dim, Xu Cang subconsciously thought that this person might have had a nightmare. Although this situation is relatively rare, there are indeed some people who dream that someone is pinching their necks and making it difficult to breathe, but in fact they are pinching themselves.
"Sir, sir, please let go first!" Xu Cang immediately wanted to pry the man's hands apart so that he could breathe.
However, the man's hand was so strong that Xu Cang couldn't move at all.
Because this person's movements were quite loud, many passengers who were not asleep or were in a light sleep began to notice this side. Not long after, with a burst of hurried footsteps, the chief steward in the front cabin came over after hearing the news.
According to regulations, the chief flight attendant should not leave her seat at this time, but the cabin was so noisy that the man's suffocating sound even reached the workroom in the front cabin. She couldn't just ignore it.
The flight attendant followed the dim light of the cabin and first noticed Xu Cang. She remembered that Xu Cang was a member of the company's crew and asked, "Brother, what's wrong with him?"
"I don't know!" Xu Cang was patting the man while trying to pry his hands apart: "He just became like this all of a sudden! He probably didn't eat anything, and I don't know if he passed out in his sleep."
If this person was eating just now, one could consider whether the food got stuck in his airway, but Xu Cang was very sure that this person had not moved at all, so he could only be in a nightmare.
"Come here and pat him to wake him up, I'll pry his hands open." Xu Cang signaled to the flight attendant to help, so that he could free up one hand and use all his strength to pry the man's hands open.
"Okay!" The flight attendant didn't ask any more questions. However, she didn't do what Xu Cang said right away, but instinctively turned on the reading light on her seat so that she could see more clearly.
However, as soon as the flight attendant turned on the light, Xu Cang suddenly saw that the middle-aged man was not having a nightmare at all. He was staring at Xu Cang with his bloodshot eyes, his lips trembling, as if he wanted to say something.
Xu Cang was caught off guard by the sudden appearance of light and this scene. He stepped back in shock, his heart pounding.
But after the initial shock, Xu Cang immediately thought, if it wasn't a nightmare, how could it turn out like this?
Almost in a split second, Xu Cang suddenly had an idea and murmured, "Asthma... Asthma, he's having an asthma attack!"
Perhaps he had an asthma attack without warning in his sleep just now, and in panic, he instinctively covered his throat. Moreover, under excessive fear, people can't react. Xu Cang tried to pry his hands open, but he didn't know how to let go of his hands according to Xu Cang's strength.
At the moment when Xu Cang had this thought, the middle-aged man's brain probably reacted a little. He loosened his hands and pointed his right hand at the luggage rack above his head: "Medicine! Red... red bag!"
The flight attendant obviously hadn't figured out the situation yet, and hadn't heard the middle-aged man's words clearly, but he confirmed, "Sir, what did you say?"
"Medicine, asthma medicine, he's having an asthma attack!" Xu Cang shouted, "Look for the red bag on the luggage rack above. There should be medicine in it."
Asthma patients generally carry medicine with them in case of emergency.
The flight attendant finally understood and quickly stood up to look for the luggage rack.
However, the middle-aged man gradually curled up into a ball, and even when he had an asthma attack and difficulty breathing, he actually covered his mouth and nose with his sleeves.
Xu Cang was immediately puzzled when he saw this. Asthma suppresses normal breathing and causes suffocation. How can one cover his mouth and nose in this situation?
Could it be that he is confused due to lack of oxygen?
"Sir, don't cover it..." Xu Cang was ready to let the man let go of his mouth and nose.
But the man used up all his strength and said with difficulty: "Gasoline, why is there a smell of gasoline here?"
…
At this moment, in the cockpit, Wu Taiming also sniffed, sat up straight, and looked at Shi Qi next to him with a puzzled look: "Instructor, what is that smell? Why can't I smell it?"
"This..." Shi Qi was not really sure, but he just felt something was wrong. However, due to the aging of the equipment, or heating problems during the operation of the instrument, and the presence of high-altitude ozone, some strange smells were indeed smelled in the cockpit from time to time.
Shi Qi glanced at the displays of various systems and found that there was nothing abnormal, so he didn't worry too much about it. He thought it might be his own psychological effect or just some insignificant smells.
Shi Qi waved his hand: "Forget it, it's nothing."
However, just as Shi Qi finished speaking, an information message popped up on the ECAM display unit. Shi Qi's eyelids jumped, and he realized that it seemed to be a warning message that the engine oil temperature was too high.
This alarm is triggered only when the lubricating oil temperature is between 140 and 155 degrees for more than 15 minutes or directly exceeds 155 degrees.
Sure enough, Wu Taiming reacted quickly and immediately found on the engine data that the oil temperature was already 152 degrees. Too high oil temperature is a relatively dangerous situation, and in many cases the engine needs to be shut down, otherwise the engine will be damaged.
Shi Qi certainly knew how to deal with the situation where the lubricating oil temperature was too high. He immediately sat up straight, disconnected the automatic throttle, slowly pulled back the thrust handle of the problematic No. 1 engine, and increased the thrust of the No. 2 engine to ensure sufficient thrust. At the same time, he gradually used the rudder to correct the sideslip caused by the inconsistent thrust of the aircraft.
It must be said that Instructor Shi Qi's actions were quite sophisticated. His coordination of reducing the throttle and increasing the rudder was impeccable, and the aircraft did not move at all when the No. 1 engine continued to reduce thrust.
Normally, when the engine thrust is reduced, the corresponding engine oil temperature will drop, which is a common sense issue. But when Shi Qi closed the throttle, the oil temperature actually rose in the opposite direction as the thrust decreased.
This made Wu Taiming stunned, and he subconsciously asked back: "What's going on? Why is the temperature still rising?"
Shi Qi wiped his stubble-covered chin with his left hand and instructed Wu Taiming, "Hold the pole tightly and keep an eye on the plane! I'll control the rudder."
Wu Taiming immediately grabbed the right side stick. At this time, the aircraft had not produced a huge deviation in thrust to cause the autopilot to disconnect. Therefore, Wu Taiming did not need to manually intervene in the control of the aircraft and only needed to monitor it.
"Instructor, I'm watching the plane! What does this temperature mean? Why isn't it going down at all?" Wu Taiming asked the question that had been puzzling him.
Even if it is slower, the lubricating oil temperature will always drop. There is no reason for it to rise.
Shi Qi's eyes swept back and forth over the other data. When the thrust of the No. 1 engine was almost slowed down, he said uncertainly: "Except for the lubricating oil temperature, the other data are all good. Could it be a cooling problem?"
Wu Taiming was startled and asked in confusion: "Instructor, are you talking about the IDG oil cooling system? That's for fuel cooling?"
A portion of the fuel flowing out of the HMU hydraulic-mechanical unit is used to cool the lubricating oil system of the integral drive engine, after which it is returned to the fuel pump or tank.
Of course, this form of recirculation will be closed by the fuel return valve, for example, when the engine is turned off or the fuel temperature is too high, about 52 degrees. This system will be jointly controlled by the ECU and FADEC based on N2 changes and fuel flow, but there is one thing that Shi Qi is more concerned about.
He pointed to the fuel flow meter of the No. 1 engine and asked, "Why is the fuel flow of the No. 1 engine almost half less than that of the No. 2 engine?"
"Could it be the difference in thrust?" Wu Taiming said uncertainly, "And from the past records in the maintenance book, it seems that the fuel flow of Engine 1 has always been less than that of Engine 2."
What Wu Taiming said made some sense. After all, the thrust of the No. 1 engine is much lower than that of the No. 2 engine, so the fuel efficiency is naturally much lower. Moreover, under normal circumstances, the fuel flow of the No. 1 engine is naturally lower than that of the No. 2 engine. The maintenance staff said that it might be a display error, and the specific reason is unknown.
It seems not impossible that such an exaggerated traffic difference will appear when the two are combined.
"I've seen that record. As for the thrust difference..." Wu Taiming's words made sense, but they were obviously not enough to convince Shi Qi. The main reason was that the fuel flow was almost half less, and the difference was really shocking.
"What should we do, instructor?" At this time, the captain still has to make the decision.
Shi Qi licked his lips. If he cut off the engine without caring about anything, then no matter what the reason was, he would have to identify it as an accident sign first.
If it turns out to be a mechanical failure, it might be okay. But if they handle it with a little flaw, it's hard to say. The main thing is that Shi Qi found that the other system data are normal. The thrust reduction and oil temperature increase also meet the description of the IDG system cooling problem.
So Shi Qi decided to give it a try. He said to Wu Taiming, "At low speeds, the IDG system cooling is limited by the fuel flow, so the effect is not good. I will start to increase the throttle in a moment. You keep an eye on the lubricating oil temperature. Once it exceeds the maximum temperature, no matter what, start the shutdown procedure directly. Do you understand?"
Wu Taiming calmed down a bit. It was the first time for him to shut down the car, so he was a little nervous. However, he nodded seriously and said, "I'll keep an eye on it, instructor!"
Shi Qi wiped his face. To be honest, he was a little nervous, but he was very strong and hid it well. Shi Qi made a prompt decision and was not a hesitant person. He immediately began to slowly increase the thrust of the No. 1 engine and reduce the thrust of the No. 2 engine and the rudder.
As the thrust of Engine No. 1 increased, the value on the fuel flow meter of Engine No. 1 began to rise. At some point, the lubricating oil temperature, which had increased to almost the limit, suddenly stopped. This made the frightened Wu Taiming breathe a sigh of relief.
In fact, Shi Qi also paid a small amount of attention to the engine oil temperature gauge. He immediately noticed that the temperature had stopped rising. Naturally, he was delighted and felt that he had done the right thing.
But before he could be happy for long, the EACM advisory message popped up again. Shi Qi was busy with the engine and the oil temperature, and he could only shout, "What's going on?"
Wu Taiming glanced at the display component and blurted out: "The vibration value of engine number one is high?"
"What?" Upon hearing this, Shi Qi's face changed drastically, and he was about to pull back the throttle of the No. 1 engine. But before he could move, there was a deafening bang, and in the dark night sky, the No. 1 engine on the left side of the plane exploded in the air, and flames shot up into the sky!
