Chapter 132 Autism
Chapter 133 Autism
Early in the morning on the weekend, Fang Qing came to the school gate alone because Wen Ning had something urgent to do. When a black limousine stopped at the gate, Fang Qing saw the familiar bodyguard Ah Cheng.
The limousine drove out of the city steadily, and after more than an hour, it entered an elegant mountainous area. Just when Fang Qing was about to fall asleep, the car finally stopped in front of a beautiful villa on the top of the mountain.
Ah Cheng got out of the car and took the initiative to open the door for Fang Qing. As Fang Qing got out of the car, she saw the housekeeper and servants standing outside the car door, standing straight in two rows, "Welcome, Miss Fang."
Fang Qing was flattered. It was the first time in her life that she was treated like this, and she was a little restrained for a moment. Until the gate of the villa opened, Zhang Ting came out excitedly.
"Ah, Teacher Fang, you're finally here. Come, don't be shy. Let me introduce you. These are the household staff. If we're not home, you can always come directly to them."
Following Zhang Ting, Fang Qing met Mr. Wang, the housekeeper, and Sister Liu, the housekeeper in charge of daily life. The rest were the maids serving tea and water, and the bodyguards, whose captain was Ah Cheng.
Zhang Ting enthusiastically took Fang Qing in her arms and led her straight into the living room. "Sit down and have some water and rest. Zichengcheng is still upstairs and hasn't woken up yet."
It turned out that the child's name was Zichengcheng. Although Fang Qing had met him twice, he still didn't know his name. It seemed he would need to see more of him.
Zhang Ting was very fond of Fang Qing. The more she saw this pretty girl, the more she liked her. She was gentle, beautiful, and quiet.
So she took Fang Qing on a tour of the villa. The first floor was the living room, with an open-plan study to the right, a dining room and kitchen to the left, and a vegetable garden and greenhouse to the rear. The second floor primarily housed the bedrooms and lounge, while the third floor contained a study, a drawing room, and entertainment areas.
Fang Qing toured the villa with amazement, marveling at the wonders of the rich. It boasted not only an underground swimming pool but also a small basketball court, an art studio, a study, and even a small horse ranch. It seemed these parents had truly put so much thought into their child's well-rounded development.
Zhang Ting showed Fang Qing around, her overzealousness making her feel a little embarrassed. Fang Qing understood that his mother's actions simply meant she wanted him to be as dedicated as possible, and he immediately made her position clear.
"Don't worry, Zicheng and I are destined to be together, and I love him very much. I'll treat him like my own brother and teach him to the best of my ability."
Fang Qing's assurances emboldened his mother, who then led Fang Qing to his guest room.
"I didn't know what you liked, so I prepared this room for you based on my sister's preferences. I hope you like it."
The room was decorated in a contemporary style. The room was decorated in elegant pastel colors, with delicate curtains, a soft mattress, and a clean, warm quilt. In the corner stood a delicate bookcase with an easel beside it. Underneath, a collection of paints, paper, and pens filled the space.
"I know you're a design student and you need to study and draw occasionally, so I've prepared these things in advance. If you feel they're not enough, just tell the housekeeper and they'll get you whatever you need. You're welcome."
As they were talking, they heard footsteps behind them. Fang Qing turned and saw the little boy standing at the doorway, staring blankly at him.
"Zicheng, why are you here barefoot? Go put your shoes on! Teacher Fang is already here, and you haven't washed up yet. Isn't that rude?"
Zicheng glanced at Fang Qing, then down at his bare feet before sprinting away.
As the footsteps clattered away, Zhang Ting gave Fang Qing a wry smile. "This kid might be a little unfamiliar. Teacher Fang, please don't mind."
Fang Qing smiled and shook her head. Although the child was quiet, he was quite obedient compared to many children she knew. Remembering the candied haws the boy had left for her, Fang Qing felt a little more confident.
Half an hour later, the little boy, freshly dressed, stood in front of the piano.
Although the child is already nine years old, he is still very timid in front of strangers and doesn't like to talk. It can be seen that he rarely communicates with others.
Fang Qing tried to communicate with him, "Zicheng, do you still remember me? We met a few days ago. I took you to the lake to play, and before leaving, I bought you some candied haws."
Hearing about candied haws, little Zicheng finally raised his head from his mother's arms, glanced at the corner of the living room, and then turned to look at Fang Qing.
This time he did not avoid Fang Qing's gaze, but still sat next to Zhang Ting, occasionally looking down to play with his fingers.
Zhang Ting saw that the atmosphere was a little awkward, and jokingly asked Fang Qing to look back at the vase in the corner, where there were three candied haws that were almost covered with dust.
"After this child ate a candied haws fruit at your house, he couldn't bear to eat the rest. When he got home, he wouldn't let anyone touch them.
It was the babysitter who suggested putting them in a vase, and he finally let go and went to sleep.
But since then, he's been looking at the candied haws fruit every morning before washing his face and eating. It's clear you have a special place in this child's heart."
Fang Qing hadn't expected this child to be so withdrawn and obsessed. She suddenly felt that this job might not be as easy as she'd imagined. She
hesitated to take risks during their initial encounter, and could only gradually get to know Zicheng. She would read from storybooks or accompany him while he played with toys. But she found the child had trouble focusing on one thing. He'd often look at one thing for a while, then get distracted by something else.
Everyone in the villa seemed to be circling around him, making the task even more challenging.
To better educate him, Fang Qing returned to school and immediately went to the library, searching for books on teaching and psychology.
However, the contents of these books were complicated, and the knowledge system was very powerful and huge. The more Fang Qing read, the more overwhelmed he became. In the end, he could only sit by the lake, holding the book and staring blankly.
When Wen Ning found Fang Qing, he saw her nose red from the cold, and he found it amusing. "If there's a problem you can't solve, talk to your husband. Dwelling on it won't solve it."
Fang Qing sighed as she looked at the slowly melting lake in the distance. "Brother Ning, I spent the entire day with him yesterday, and he didn't say a word, nor did he respond at all. I have no idea where to start..."
After learning about what happened that day, Wen Ning also felt a headache. Although he had taught many children before and did have some experience, this was the first time he had encountered such a quiet and introverted child.
In fact, from a professional perspective, this child can no longer be considered introverted, but rather autistic.
