Chapter 13
Xie Yan and I’s wedding is scheduled for late autumn.
He hugged me obsessively: "Yuanyuan, now finally no one comes to disturb us."
Sending Qi Han to the police station was our joint effort.
He didn't know about the nursing home yet because he and the owner of the house had always been at odds.
I just found out from someone else that the scar on his wrist was cut by himself after I ran away and lied about being dead.
It’s a pity that his people found me later.
I couldn't help feeling a little regretful. If Xie Yan had died at that moment, I wouldn't have had to waste so much time.
During the time when I lost my memory, I became the normal person that I hated the most.
Xie Yan wants to marry me.
He couldn't wait to put a ring on my ring finger: "Wish it, we will be together forever."
I smiled and hugged him back, "Okay."
As if he was afraid that I would leave, he would always hug me at night and tell me how much he regretted it and how much he loved me.
I always suppress my impatience and comfort him.
On the wedding day, I changed into the fishtail dress that Xie Yan had custom-made for me , the style that was most difficult to escape from marriage.
The Xie family's only son was going to marry his adopted daughter, which should have been the biggest joke in the north of the city, but because of his status, no one dared to laugh at him.
There were a lot of people coming, so I pushed Xie Yan out to socialize, while I pulled Zhou Heng along to hang out in the bedroom.
The fishtail skirt is also difficult to take off.
Zhou Heng looked at it with red eyes.
I touched his eyes: "Don't look at it, look at me."
Among the ladies who came today, there are several daughters of wealthy groups. The most powerful one has been pursuing Xie Yan but has never been successful.
I had someone give her a mermaid skirt that was exactly the same as mine.
Xie Yan was drunk and held me tightly, refusing to let go: "Yes, yes, let's go to the Civil Affairs Bureau tomorrow."
I nonchalantly comforted him: "Let's talk about it tomorrow."
I threw him into the room, fed him a hangover pill, closed the door, and another figure in a fishtail skirt flashed in.
Zhou Heng was waiting in the living room. When he saw me coming out, he raised the contract in his hand and said, "Miss, it's done."
I smiled, took his arm, and whispered in his ear , "Is the household registration book here?"
He was confused: "Yes, what's wrong?"
"Accompany me to the Civil Affairs Bureau tomorrow." I smiled, but there was no emotion in my eyes.
"Someone has to get a certificate from me."
Zhou Heng's ears turned red, and after a long silence, he only said, "Hmm."
The next day, the rumor that Xie Yan had cheated on his wife on their wedding night became a hot topic.
I heard that it was because the daughter of that family wore a fishtail skirt similar to the bride's.
Scandals are everywhere, but no one has suppressed them.
Qianjin's father angrily asked Xie Yan to take responsibility.
Xie Yan kicked open the door of my office with red eyes, and knelt on the ground regardless of Zhou Heng's attempt to stop him.
He looked up at me: "I'm sorry, Yuanyuan, I...I...last night..."
"It's okay." I forced a smile.
"I know you didn't mean it. You were drunk and couldn't tell me apart...which is normal."
This sentence provoked an even more excited reaction from him. Xie Yan rushed over and hugged me: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Yuanyuan, I..."
I still had soothing words on my lips.
But in my heart I was thinking, how does it feel to be given to someone else personally?
"I'll go and apologize to her. Yes, if it doesn't work, I'll get rid of her and their family. Nothing can stop us from being together."
Tsk, still not good enough.
"It's okay." I opened my arms and hugged him, but the hand behind his back took the syringe Zhou Heng handed over: "I have a way to solve it, you just need to be patient, and we can be together forever."
The next second, I suddenly inserted the needle into his skin, and Zhou Heng rushed over to help me strangle him.
I squatted down and looked at Xie Yan, but my hand slowly pushed the medicine in: "How does it feel?"
Xie Yan looked at me in disbelief, and then a hint of expected sadness flashed across his face.
I looked at him calmly, "How does it feel to be betrayed, to be given away as a gift, to be injected with drugs that cause you to lose your memory?"
“It’s okay, you’re already experiencing it.”
