Chapter 117: Seven Days After the Wedding.

So after Quan Zhilong and Wu Yunxi finished selecting the photos, did they really send the photographer off to the plane? That was a lie. As the host, they treated him to a meal and a night's rest before sending him off. As for the rest of the process, Wu Yunxi and Quan Zhilong were able to handle it.

Of course, that's just saying it, but in reality, it was all handled by Quan Zhilong's agent.

The agent hadn't expected his workload to decrease at all when Quan Zhilong wasn't taking on any work. He even had to deal with a ton of personal matters for Quan Zhilong. If it weren't for the high salary, he'd have wanted to quit.

Despite all this fuss, the agent was actually incredibly serious about his recent work, especially since Quan Zhilong had given him a raise.

Wu Yunxi had a relatively easy time, and after the early stages of her pregnancy, she felt much more relaxed, but that ease only lasted for a little over two months. As her belly grew, back pain and leg cramps became a regular occurrence. Luckily, Quan Zhilong hadn't had any work scheduled recently, so when he noticed Wu Yunxi feeling unwell, he was immediately able to offer some relief.

Wu Yunxi woke up in the middle of the night with a leg cramp. Quan Zhilong, who had been holding Wu Yunxi to sleep, noticed immediately and naturally began massaging her. The cramp also kept Wu Yunxi awake, so she simply lay on her side and talked to Quan Zhilong.

"What are you talking about, babe? You're the one who's been suffering the most."

Quan Zhilong's hands kept moving, but he also spoke to Wu Yunxi. Quan Zhilong wasn't lying. Although he couldn't completely empathize, he had seen everything Wu Yunxi had been going through recently, and out of love, he felt for her. It wasn't empathy; it was simply heartache.

After Quan Zhilong massaged Wu Yunxi until the cramp subsided, Wu Yunxi couldn't fall asleep for a while.

But there was nothing else to do in the middle of the night. Although sleepy, Quan Zhiyong sat up and chatted with Wu Yunxi for a while. They discussed what to name the baby after it was born, speculating whether it would be a boy or a girl.

While hospitals could determine the gender, Wu Yunxi and Quan Zhiyong felt that it was unnecessary. They loved their children, whether it was a boy or a girl.

As they chatted, Wu Yunxi's voice gradually became quieter. Quan Zhiyong turned his head to look at her, who was almost asleep, and smiled helplessly. After putting her down, he covered her with the blanket and lay down himself.

He had been feeling sleepy, but after chatting with Wu Yunxi for a while, Quan Zhiyong felt much more awake. After lying down and holding her in his arms, he picked up his phone, which had been placed beside him, opened his social media app, and checked out some interesting things he could find at that time. Fortunately, Quan Zhiyong was careful not to like or comment on anything. After playing with his phone for a while, Quan Zhiyong put it down and fell asleep.

Time flies, especially when the two of them have nothing to do. Before they knew it, they were in the final month of the pregnancy, and the family had gradually added some baby items. Since they couldn't determine the baby's gender, the clothes they bought weren't the kind that clearly indicated whether they were for a boy or a girl. While Gon Ji-yong had bought some pink clothes, they didn't really have any particular designation for such a small baby. Besides, Gon Ji-yong himself wore pink from time to time, so how could he think pink was exclusively for girls?

Despite all the shopping, the couple, expecting their child, felt like they hadn't prepared enough. One morning, Wu Yunxi even rushed to get ready and urged Gon Ji-yong to get up early.

"What's wrong? Any special plans for today?"

Quan Ji-yong thought carefully. He didn't have work today, and it wasn't her prenatal checkup day, so did Wu Yunxi have any special plans?

"Nothing special, but I really want to go shopping! I want to buy lots of things for the baby."

Wu Yunxi's eagerness was indescribable, even though the house was already full of things, not only her own purchases but also gifts from friends. But she still wanted to buy things. Of course, it wasn't just for the baby; Wu Yunxi also wanted to go out for a little shopping before the birth.

To be honest, she hadn't been out much recently. Although the pregnancy was announced, Quan Ji-yong and Wu Yunxi hadn't announced the exact date of the pregnancy. However, when the media got the news, there was a lot of attention. So sometimes Wu Yunxi really didn't want to go out, but she got bored if she didn't go out for too long.

That's why she had such a strong desire to go out today.

Quan Ji-yong saw Wu Yunxi's eagerness to go out and smiled as he agreed, getting out of bed. Fortunately, she packed up quickly. By the time she was done, she was done. She puts the water, tissues, and other essentials in her bag. Quan Ji-yong also brings some fruit and snacks for Wu Yunxi, and carries the bag on his back.

Quan Ji-yong drives, and Wu Yunxi no longer sits in the passenger seat. With her growing belly, sitting in the passenger seat with her seatbelt still feels a bit uncomfortable, so she usually sits in the back seat.

"Go, go, let's go!"

Wu Yunxi gets excited as she gets in the car. Once the car starts moving, she even starts playing music. She's in a really good mood today. Quan Ji-yong can sense Wu Yunxi's joy as he listens to her humming.

Of course, Quan Ji-yong didn't realize there was a car following him until they were almost at the mall. Before this, Kwon Ji-yong would have noticed immediately,

but now that he was so focused on Wu Yunxi, he didn't notice immediately.

Quan Zhilong picked up a onesie and showed it to Wu Yunxi, pointing to the pattern of a little rabbit chewing a carrot, and exclaimed at how cute the picture was.

"Yeah, let's buy it too?"

After looking at this and that, Quan Zhilong already had a lot of things in his hands after only visiting three or four stores.

"Oppa, let's put them down first?"

Wu Yunxi looked at Quan Zhilong carrying so many things in his hands, thinking that if he continued to shop, he really wouldn't be able to carry them all, so it would be better to put the things down first.
