Chapter 1: Three Rules, Please Take Care of Me From Now On 4

When the get out of class was over, I sat in my seat with the paper covered with red crosses and a big zero in the upper right corner, feeling like crying but unable to cry. What echoed in my ears was the teacher's voice standing on the podium, shouting my name in a rhythmic manner.
"Luo Huayin! You're the only one in the class who got zero points. Did you listen to what was said in class? Stay here after school and copy every question ten times!"
In just one short class, I enjoyed the stare of the whole class twice, and my face turned so red that I wanted to hide my face in the hole of the desk.
"Hahahaha - so stupid, you actually wrote it down? It's really funny... Hahahaha, you're such an idiot..."
I was the only one who could hear the translucent guy sitting on the windowsill, holding his belly and laughing so hard that he fell backwards.
Leaf Realm...
My face turned red and I gritted my teeth. What campus prince, what friendly and outstanding student, what popular person in school... all of them are lies! This guy is clearly a wolf in sheep's clothing!
Liar! This liar!
"Why are you glaring at me? Can you blame me for not being able to write? It was just a little joke, who knew you would really write it down."
Looking at that gloating face, I unknowingly lost the fear I had at the beginning - instead, I was filled with unspeakable bitterness!
"Still glaring at me? Hurry up and copy the questions, ten times. If you wait until after school to copy them, will you be able to go home today? Hahahaha - study hard, kid, I'm going back to sleep in the mirror."
Accompanied by a series of teeth-gritting laughter, the translucent figure flashed slightly and disappeared from my sight.
What did I do wrong to deserve such a hateful guy... It was 6:30 in the evening and it was almost dark. The campus was very quiet at dusk.
“Gurgle—”
My stomach suddenly made a noise. I gritted my teeth, touched my stomach awkwardly, and continued writing without raising my head.
"hungry?"
Ye Jing sat in the seat in front of me and lay on my desk, staring at me with his big eyes without blinking for a long time.
I was still very angry, and even though he ran out again after school, I still ignored him.
"Don't you feel bored?" He yawned lazily as he spoke.
I couldn't help it, so I looked up and glared at him, then continued to write hard with my head down.
There is one last time...
"Ha..." He was not angry at all. He suddenly propped up his chin with one hand and said, "Luo Huayin, you look so pitiful from this perspective."
call--
Take a deep breath and stay calm...
I tightly grasped the pen in my hand and gritted my teeth: "Who is responsible for my current situation? How dare you say that?"
"Who do you blame? Isn't it because you don't know how to answer such a simple test?" Ye Jing said shamelessly, with his bright black eyes wide open, "Even if you didn't write it according to my instructions, you could have answered all the questions correctly if you wrote them yourself?"
"I--"
With eyes wide open, I stared into those beautiful big eyes for ten full seconds…Finally, I gave up powerlessly and continued copying questions with my head down: “Forget it, forget it, I’m too lazy to talk to you…”
"Well, it's good that you know it yourself!" He narrowed his eyes and nodded with satisfaction.
The classroom was empty as evening approached. I was the only one sitting at the table copying and writing. It was very quiet.
Ten minutes later, Ye Jing spoke again, unwilling to be lonely.
"Luo Huayin."
"What?"
"Don't you have any friends? Why is there no one waiting for you? Don't girls like to go home together and chatter?"
He suddenly paused and the ballpoint pen in his hand stopped on the paper.
After a few seconds, I continued writing as if I didn't hear what he said.
“Pfft——” The pair of big black eyes were still staring at me. Ye Jing suddenly chuckled. I didn’t know what he was laughing at. “Is that so… It’s really pitiful.”
Veins almost popped out of my forehead.
"Do you have any hobbies?" He leaned over my desk again, blinking his black gemstone eyes, "Or are you good at something?"
“Read comics and listen to music.”
"I'm a homebody." He raised his eyebrows. "I like basketball, swimming, and outdoor cycling. Do you want to try it?"
"Not at all."
"Ha ha--"
I was copying the questions in a depressed mood, and Ye Jing kept talking to me in a good mood. When I finished copying the last word, the pointer had already moved to 7 o'clock.
"Finished?"
Seeing me packing my things and carrying my schoolbag, Ye Jing stretched and stood up: "My God, copying books until 7 o'clock, is this the daily life of a poor student?"
Bad student...
I felt as if my heart was suddenly stabbed by a sword. I wordlessly put on my schoolbag, put the wrong questions that I had copied ten times on the podium, turned off the lights, and walked out of the classroom.
The playground at dusk is really not lovely at all.
The huge playground was empty, with only a few students coming out from the basketball court.
Ye Jing and I were walking side by side. He turned his head to look at the teenagers who were walking out with basketballs in their arms. It was rare that he didn't make a noise to yell at me.
"You..." After hesitating for a while, I called him in a low voice.
He looked away and lowered his head to look at me.
Well--
I looked at him, my eyes wide open.
Actually, I didn’t have much to say, but seeing his expression just now, I don’t know why I opened my mouth!
“You—” I felt the corners of my mouth twitch, and I forced myself to say, “You’re quite tall, I’m only as tall as your shoulders…”
"hehe."
He had an expression that said "Is that even necessary?" and gave me a cold smile with disdain.
I just felt that I was really out of my mind to have such a hard time with this man with split personality and a sinister heart.
We continued walking side by side in this dead silent campus, but under the lit street lights, there was clearly only my shadow... I couldn't help but stare at the shadow on the ground in a daze.
Am I suffering from some kind of paranoia? Is there really a translucent guy next to me?
"Luo Huayin!"
"ah!"
Suddenly I heard a loud yell in my ear, and I came to my senses so suddenly that I screamed in fright, and my hair stood on end.
After I realized what was happening, I couldn't stand it anymore and turned to the guy next to me and yelled, "Why are you so loud all of a sudden? You can scare people to death, don't you know that?"
"Am I a human being?"
The street lights next to the playground made his pale, bloodless face look even more eerie.
He looked at me expressionlessly, and suddenly spoke in a slow voice: "Were you looking at a shadow just now? Speaking of which, I suddenly remembered a campus horror legend about a shadow... Do you want to hear it?"
"I don't want to listen! Aaaaa——" I covered my ears and yelled at him, "Ye Jing, shut up! Don't talk!"
"Who is she talking to..."
"Ye Jing? Could she be crazy..." A surprised voice suddenly came from not far behind.
I was stunned, put down my hand and turned to look.
Under the dim street lights, three boys in school uniforms looked at each other with complicated expressions, and finally looked at me together. It was clear that they were looking at a monster.
I stood there stupidly, clutching the strap of my schoolbag nervously.
A cool evening breeze blew by, ruffling my short hair and just covering my panicked face.
"Hey you--"
The three men called me tentatively and took a step forward.
I suddenly came to my senses, turned around and ran away.
Damn it! It was so bad... Those three boys seemed to be from our grade. If I remember correctly, they were from the Sports Department of the Student Union... God bless, I hope they didn't see me clearly!
"Hahahaha——" Ye Jing beside me had been floating leisurely beside me, gloating, "Luo Huayin, are you still yelling at me?"
I learned my lesson the hard way, and until I got home, I didn't say a word to him no matter what he said.
