Chapter 0026 Thrilling Reveal
The sound of nails scratching became sharper and sharper, and it was hard to imagine what the scene was like inside the coffin.
Wuming stretched out his hand and handed the red rope to me. He was extremely anxious and pulled his sleeves back to reveal his wrist which was originally covered tightly.
The skinny skin was covered with overlapping teeth marks, as if it had been bitten repeatedly.
I always felt that something was wrong, but the situation was urgent and I didn't have time to think about it. Just as I was about to reach out to take the red rope, Ah Xiang suddenly shouted.
"etc!"
I paused and took my hand back.
"Don't trust him. If you help him, you will be fooled by him!" Ah Xiang said coldly.
"That crazy woman wants to kill us, ignore her!" Wuming frowned, and the urgency on his face did not seem fake. "Why are you still standing there? Come with me to tie up the coffin. It will be too late if you are late!"
I didn't answer, but stepped back away from him and the coffin.
His words didn't sound like much at first, but when I thought about it carefully, he and A Xiang seemed to have something in common in their requests to me.
One is to kowtow to the coffin, and the other is to tie up the coffin.
I finally figured out that everything this man and woman asked me to do was related to the coffin!
And, the most important thing is to do it with them!
I couldn't guess what their purpose was, but I knew I must not do what any of them said.
Fortunately, this couple was fighting each other, otherwise they would have joined forces to plot against me, and I wouldn't even know how I died.
"If you don't let me succeed, I won't let you succeed either. If we have to die tonight, we'll die together!" Ah Xiang had a vengeful sneer on her face. As she spoke, she retreated into the shadows and found a place to hide.
Wuming's face turned extremely ugly, his eyes were as dark as a knife. He wanted to settle the score with Ah Xiang but couldn't, because the scratching sound of nails in the coffin had stopped, replaced by banging sounds.
The coffin was shaking and trembling, and the lid seemed unable to hold it down. The things inside were about to rush out, which was terrifying.
Wuming's face changed drastically. He didn't care about anything else for a moment and quickly tied the coffin with the red rope in his hand.
But just as it began, there was a loud bang and a huge force pushed the coffin lid open.
The red rope broke, and Wuming was thrown out without even having time to utter a cry of pain.
Click, click, click!
There was a terrifying sound of bones rubbing against each other in the coffin.
My heart tightened . Before I could see clearly what was inside the coffin, the red candles on the altar suddenly went out!
Darkness surrounded me. In the huge coffin shop, the only light left was the thin cold light emitted by the mobile phones in the live broadcast room.
This little light was only enough to illuminate the ground under my feet. In the darkness, something crawled out of the third coffin, crawling on all fours, looking like a human yet not like a human.
It's more like a monster than a zombie.
Cold sweat rolled down my face as I carefully stepped back, trying my best not to make any noise.
Fortunately, the monster-like thing seemed to have no interest in others and ran straight in the direction of Wuming.
"Don't come over here, don't come over here!"
In the darkness, there was a sound of things falling, and Wuming seemed to be running away frantically.
I followed Ah Xiang's example and hid in the darkness, turned off the screen of my phone, leaned against the cold wall, and my heart was pounding.
“No, no…”
"ah--"
After a moment of chaos, Wuming's heart-wrenching screams came to an abrupt end, and the coffin shop fell into deathly silence.
The darkness around me was as thick as spilled ink. No matter how wide I opened my eyes, I couldn't see a thing. My whole body was tense, fearing that the monster would appear beside me the next moment. This feeling of trepidation and fear was terrible.
But then, another sound coming from the darkness made me feel that silence might be better.
Snap!
Snap!
It feels like teeth gnawing at bones, so creepy!
I shuddered all over and suddenly remembered the dense teeth marks on Wuming's wrist.
Has he been bitten countless times by the monster in the coffin?
Cold sweat soaked my back.
I touched the two talismans in my coat pocket, feeling a little more secure, and tried my best to stay calm.
The horror of this night officially began, and every second seemed extremely long.
I don’t know how long it took, but the sound of teeth gnawing on bones finally disappeared, and I didn’t know whether Wuming was dead or alive.
Click, click.
The sound of palms pressing on the ground was heard, and the monster began to move again.
My temples were throbbing and I held my breath, not daring to breathe.
The monster crawled left and right in the darkness for a while, then disappeared and no one knew where it stopped.
There was deathly silence all around.
Squatting in the darkness, I felt as if shrouded in the shadow of fear.
Should I continue hiding or go out and deal with it?
In this coffin shop, it seems that every choice is a matter of life and death.
The most terrifying thing is not death, but the process of waiting for death.
Sweat soaked my palms. I was fed up with this feeling, so I took a deep breath and prepared to get up.
A fishy stench hit me in the face, and there seemed to be something extra in the cold air.
The sound of teeth grinding was heard in front.
The monster is coming!
The hairs all over my body suddenly exploded!
I didn't care about anything else. I used all my strength to stab the multifunctional knife in my hand into the darkness.
